I find it odd that you didn’t know Chaplin was leaving as there is no way we’d be signing Walker if we hadn’t sold him would we?

You’d also be much more aware if the situation regarding bright and I’m not aware you used the word U23 did you regarding the midfielder?

I’m not even knocking it - I think it’s clever

Like I said, never claimed to be a club insider leaking secrets.

E.g. I randomly guessed we were signing an unknown from a Dutch team called NAC Breda or something...because I was told that by my friend who does know.

I haven't heard anything about Walker but that's not to say it's not happening, I just haven;t heard
Some weeks back it looked like Enokbakhare was a strong possibility but I think money may be the deciding factor there
Perhaps there was too much speculation about him and another club has tried to gazump us?
Time will tell

Oh no! Panda and betterdays disagree

At this moment I think it’s a non burner. But the rumour has triggered our over-excitable fans on twitter.

Jordy on bench?

It's harsh on him, but I think Robins would leave him out ahead of the new wide lads he's brought in and he seems hell bent on bringing in a new CF.
I'd like to see Jordy given a chance through the middle though.

If you can only reveal the information after they’ve signed it kind of defeats the point.

Well not in Chaplins case

Looking at the physique of Jobello and Kastaneer (legs like giraffes) and the way they play, I think they will be prone to the odd injury (hope I'm wrong) so I'd be surprised if they started more than half the games as a pair, so Jordy will get plenty of game time regardless.

If it helps I did post Chaplin was going the night before and I too only post what I'm told I'm allowed to, but still get surprised or caught off gaurd by things panda and others post. I'm sure Panda will know different people with equally loose lips.

Got a like because from the first day I saw him play for us I thought it would be good to see him get a run of games as main striker.

I reckon he’d score 15+ easily in the right formation. Whether we can provide that with our current squad, who knows? 15+ in league 1 would equal McNulty’s 25+ in L2.. Maybe.

Be interesting to see McNulty vs Hiwula next season, depending on games played, position they play etc. For me Hiwula (could) = McNulty.

We will see.

Oh yeah, what I came to say was a Forest supporting mate said:

“So, he's good. Genuinely he's good, but he's always been a bit slight, though young so still time to build. He's played a decent number of first team games for us, and knows where the goal is. He's done well for both Manfield and Notts the year before (both near promotion). Can’t see him displacing any of the current first team though”.
