Thomas was born March 1997 and made his debut aged 16 in 2014. So how could he be 19? He was 22 in March 2019.

He was born in Feb 99 what are you on about?

He was born in 1999.

Thomas was 19 when he started last season.

Hiwula is 24 in September

Hiwula was 22 when he started with us last season? What’s your point?

Hiwula was, overall, more productive than Thomas and for me, age is irrelevant because we knew we were going to have Thomas for one season only.

Thomas will almost definitely go further than Hiwula, but last season, you’d probably have to choose Hiwula. He scored 12 goals to Thomas’ 5.

Hiwula was not more productive. Our system required the two inside forwards to track back frequently and assist defence and defensive midfield.

Thomas was excellent at that. Hiwula was not. That is the big difference. The work rate of Thomas was vastly superior and overall in the season he was far far more consistent. Often hiwula made no contribution in games and went into hiding

Hiwula can finish no guarantees Thomas will ever find end product in his game.

He’s a “good prospect” which means absolutely sod all I’ve said it before far better prospects have gone on to do nothing in the game.Dont get me wrong I rate thomas if he does end up finding that end product no doubt he will play premiership football. If Hiwula scores 15-20 this season he will be going for over £1m also.

Do we think there is still a chance of Bright coming ? Personally I think its unlikely, I think we could do with one or two more coming in.

Fuck me, I presume it was tongue in cheek. Chill out.

I am chilled. I meant from the club. We know it is, duh.

It’s like saying: We can confirm the club have accepted an undisclosed fee from Barnsley for Conor Chaplin - this means he won’t be playing for us anymore.
