gone Barca for between 120 - 200 million depending on which report you believe.

Staggering amount of money but an absolute Rolls Royce of a player.

The report I read said there was disagreement over some sort of clause which entitled Athletico to an 80 million add on.
They may have been just trying their luck.

Yeah I since saw this, and meant to comment back! I hadn't read that at the time. I think they're trying to argue that Barca and Griezmann had agreed the deal on the side before his buy out clause was reduced to £108million. I can't see them winning, but it's an interesting and fair observation to make.

I hope they win and Barcelona have to pay extra as both them and Real Madrid play right on the edge of the rules when it comes to signing players.
