I used express VPN. It’s paid, but it’s really really good. Never had an issue and really quick.

I live in the US now but still use it for UK Netflix etc
Yeah I use ExpressVPN, no complaints so
far. Quick, reliable and works on all devices I have.

I suspect there will be a surge in VPN use soon anyway, particularly in the male teen bedrooms of the UK ;)

Dissapointing if this catches on. Will change the game as we know it. I understand why people will want to use it, I hope as a one off, but the players need supportive fans in the stadium.

To be clear not getting at anyone who is going down this route, just asking people to consider the wider implications.

I mentioned this a couple of seasons ago just after we had played at Newport. On that day due to traffic congestion it took nearly 3 and a half hours for us to get there. We arrived at the ground at about 5 to 3 to find a large queue to get into the away end. We missed the first ten minutes. Once inside we squelched through mud to stand on an open terrace in the pouring rain. We actually had to stand in a puddle. At half time I tried to go to the toilet but due to the poor facilities and the large away support I couldn’t get near them so had to wait until the end of the game. It rained for the whole match, we were drenched through. Forty odd quid for two tickets plus fuel to get down there, probably about ninety pounds for the game plus about 6 hours in a car. We could have stayed at home that day and watched the game in the dry for £10.
I did use Ifollow for three away games last season that I couldn’t get to, Charlton, Gillingham and Southend, so I am being hypocritical here. The fact is that for me and my son, nothing beats being there at the game. I would much rather watch ”live”. But the facts about the Newport game above (okay, exceptional circumstances for this match, weather, traffic etc.) would mean that with a choice of expensive and time consuming travel, or cheap and comfortable Ifollow, an increasing number of people will choose the latter. Given hindsight would I have preferred to watch the Newport game in Newport or on Ifollow? I would still have chosen to be there despite, the expense, the soaking, our late arrival and being desperate for a wee for 45 minutes (Due in part to Max’s late equaliser). Some fans won’t feel that way.
Ifollow must be great for those overseas. To be able to watch your team every week when in the past you would rely on highlights to see how we are playing is fantastic. We watched the Wimbledon game on holiday in Croatia last year which was great for us too.

I don't agree. I think that most people would prefer to go to the game; this is serving people like me who would not go to the game otherwise. Note that despite having bought ifollow, I still intend to go to the Pompey, Oxford; Wimbledon etc. away games.

So you having a season ticket isn't relevant to what he said?
Perhaps i read his original post wrong. I should have known. He was trying to be a WUM. I was trying to protect a lad from getting grassed on.

I never knew he was asking for donations for it? When he is taking money for it that's even more serious.

dunno what you're talking about, m8

You moaning about somebody mentioning it and then you tell people to donate to him.

I don't need to, I've got a season pass!

If you didn't care you wouldn't be posted for people to donate to him.
Yeah, that was a shitty comment on my behalf. Was just trying to help out other fans. Why should I though, you're mostly a bunch a cliquey pricks anyway

Liquid Gold asking or give money to the club. Do you ever leave your house??

Yes I leave my house every day.

You are missing the point, quite clearly.

Your Season Ticket for games doesn't cover iFollow.

Yeah, for going to games. If you're going to watch them at home then you have to pay for that too. You don't get a bus to the train station and then refuse to buy a ticket on the train as you've already paid for travel.
Maybe he flies on his owl to games?

I use Tunnelbear. It used to work fine but for the second half of last season I had real trouble getting the games.

I was buying a match pass for each game, maybe it's easier when you have the season pass. But I would have real difficulties getting to the payment screen to buy the match pass. Even though it recognised that I was in 'Canada' it would either block me saying it's not available for UK residents or it would take me to s acreen to buy commentary match pass in £.

Connected to VPN or not, I only see audio match pass, season audio pass and video match pass. No video season pass

So you only have ifollow so you don't have to pay to go to games?

Self explanatory isn't it?
I'm not as 'into' computers as you. Please explain why you have to use a VPN.
Do you only use ifollow because it's cheaper that going to the actual game?

No? I go to every home game and some away games also.

What point are you trying to make?
