Oh dear, someone doesn't understand irony do they.

That someone is you.

You wrote something completely irrelevant to the case. You made it about race purely because a black man was involved, to stir shit.

Then you wrote that you were just playing devil's advocate which doesn't make sense in this case as it's not relevant in any way. You think it's something you can tag onto the end of a statement to validate saying something stupid but it's not.

But that’s not the question is it... he’s admitted to killing him.
The question now is did he set out to kill him?

No I'm afraid that's not the question... As he'd never met him before I think we can safely assume he did not 'set out' to kill him.
However there are many pertinent questions around mental state and provocation that do need to be looked at.

What has mental state got to do with it?
Surely no mentally healthy person would commit a murder, but the population deserve to be protected from those who would. So you could argue that any murderer is mentally unfit and should be locked away for life.

It'a a pointless exercise arguing with someone like you, you live purely to take offence at anything and get on your high horse and rant to anyone who will give you the time of day.
I really couldn't give a fuck if your offended or not, and your opinion matters less to me than some shit I once stepped in.
Good day sir.

I'm not offended. I just think that you're stupid.

Ironically, I suspect your own mental capacity might prevent your conviction for such a crime.

Quite so, which is odd as surely if you've done it once your likely to do it again, And I think the public deserve to be protected from such a risk.
It really does beggar belief.

If your cutting about with a knife in your pocket then your intention is to kill no matter what bullshit excuse you come up with

Just been on the news. He'll do at least 28 years. He deserved that sentence for his crime. It said the bloke he stabbed had a rep for starting fights. I'm old school and if he had started on me years ago I'd have said okay we'll sort it out off the train. He didn't deserve to die in the way he did, but you just don't know who you're arguing with these days. A guy carrying a blade and with mental health issues, a bad combination.

End of day hes a murdering piece of shit abd should never get out.

Do we know exactly ehat was said? Dod they argue over a seat? Maybe murderer said sumthibg rude and the vixtim stood up for hinself infeont of his kid? Maybe if he didnt get stabbed it would be a socisl media viral of dad stands up to scumbag etc?

We just dint know. Csnt create a narratove that he deserved it. Even if he was being a prick to him didnt deserve to be stabbed once let alone 25 times.

Why did he have a death wish? He didn't know the guy was a raving scumbag with a blade did he?
I think it was because he followed him from carriage to carriage, and not leaving it at the start. Obviously he never deserved what happened and the attacker got what he deserved. Death wish maybe is a bit strong, but sometimes you just have to walk away and he had his son with him too.

The background coming out after is reinforcing how effective the jury system is. Right call that he got murder...
