Great effort. I made a donation today. Other clubs and their fans should take a look at this example. It is encouraging and heartening to see. Proud of the fans/ contributors. Hope all recipients enjoy every minute of this. I may have missed if it has already been said but how many STs will this get? about 50 season tickets for adults and kids?

And club matching it !

Rob,
Nick has donated and done this now so a huge thank you for donating your winnings, really appreciated fella.

Pretty much enough for 25 sets of adult/child tickets right now.

One plea for the weekend for those that have donated, if you can tweet/Facebook saying, I’ve just donated and add the link then it would be amazing if we could have a weekend like the last one although I’m not sure that is possible.

Thank you all
An absolute pleasure, can't believe the response on this. Every credit to you.

I found out this morning that I had been nominated by a family member, I didn’t know about this and I have been selected along with my two children to receive a season ticket and two under 5s. the last few years have been tough, working full time, completing uni full time and having two children under 3.

I’m really not an emotional person but I am now, just wanted to say thank you to everyone involved you really have made me a happy man xxxxxxx

how nice would it be if the club done something in a matchday programme and put everyones name in that has donated, and done a bit of an interview with MMJ and maybe with some of the recepients of the season tickets too, maybe keep it in the back pocket for a big cup game or something (more exposure)

At the club again later today buying more tickets for some wonderful people including families who have been nominated from shine a light support services, a charity helping families where there is childhood cancer.

Childhood Cancer Support Charity, Warwickshire - Shine a Light

For me, this is everything that we had hoped to achieve. Making a difference in people’s lives that hopefully brings them some happiness that otherwise couldn’t have happened without your help and assistance.

We do still have some funds available because the club matching the tickets has enabled us to achieve so much and whilst we are still helping people and spending the money, everyone has been so generous so if we do end up with some funds left over, the plan is to use those to lay a foundation that will last beyond this season and have a fund that can be contributed to for years to come helping fans out annually.
I hope that you all find that’s a great way of creating a lasting legacy that really will allow hundreds and maybe thousands of children, families and those that can benefit In future seasons.

Great work MMJ, take a bow.

Truly amazing.

We may have different views on elements on and off the pitch, but what incredibly fantastic unity from all at CCFC.

Great gesture from the club; that really shouldn’t be underestimated either. I doubt many clubs would do the same.

Top to bottom, from Joy downwards, the club have been spot on. Can’t say enough good things about them.

(Can I have my kids back now Nick?)

I hope nobody mind me putting a link on here about one of the recipients of a season tickets this year. Please read the piece in the observer link to get an idea of the people this helps.
The thread deserves a bump too!
He’s really enjoying the football and it’s doing him some real good.
