According to Twitter 10 players will be playing elsewhere either on loan or permanently. This is from Robins himself apparently.
Who though ?

He gave positive indicators about bright which may happen and admitted Chaplin bid is real so guess it will fall into place in the next week or so. Gave Allen rave reviews and compared to Scholes (yeah really) and praised the recruitment staff and the owners for their support over summer to get us to where we are now - having pretty much full squad ready to hit pre season and hopefully hit ground running when season starts and get playoffs minimum. Overall he was very candid and spoke very well as usual.

I’ll start

Chaplin - Fee
Bayliss - Fee
Brown - perm no fee
Maycock - perm no fee or loan
Thompson - loan
Addai - loan
Bremang - loan
Bosma - perm no fee/released
Hickman - perm no fee/released
Allassani - loan
Likely to be mostly correct, I think Max might go on a short term loan get upto match fitness, not sure on Bayliss. Think Bosma has gone already.

Bosma was in the training photos the other day, so unless I've missed something in the last couple of days then he's still here.

Chaplin bid is real and he has someone in mind to bring in if he moves on this.
Sounded to me like he was considering it for sure.

Made enough references to Bright throughout the night and stated he was after a number 10

Barnsley have just signed Mallik Wilks from Leeds, who was at Doncaster last year - so does that mean they won't be after Chaplin any more?

Think the Chaplin move will happen Barnsley have announced their interest and sounds as if Luton are keen too, will be interesting how this pans out as MR has admitted to be in for one striker so could it be two ?

He was full of praise for Mcallum and clearly sees him as the long term left back.He said that Mason has worked hard over the summer and will make it a difficult choice to simply put Mcallum but it does seemthere is little chance of Brown making a return any time soon.
Interesting comments on Thomas too who he said consistently made the wrong choices either with his finishing or with his final pass. He also commented on how he chose too often to come inside rather than going down the line. This last comment was a little odd as I would have thought the purpose of playing a left footed winger on the right was for the purpose of getting him to cut in. Shows how much I know.
I thought Robins was excellent, very honest and forthright in the things he said. Reading between the lines of what he said in his comments I would think that Chaplin will probably go if the right fee is offered.

Dave Boddy spoke to groups of fans at the end and again I thought he was very honest in what he said.
He thinks we will definitely start the season at St Andrews but that there is a possibility that we could return to the Ricoh if both sides are prepared to compromise. He didn’t say what he felt Sisu needed to move on in terms of the Ricoh, but did confirm that Wasps did want Sisu to indemnify them against the need to pay back money to the council if the EU ruling goes against them. They would need to pay Blues a get out clause if they did return.
Walsall, Leicester and West Brom we’re approached about possible groundshares but only Blues, Burton and Derby gave positive responses. Apparently there is still communication ongoing with the parties (Sisu, City, Wasps)
There is a bid in for Bright who does want to join City but the ball is very much in Wolves court.
Both himself and Robins would have sooner sacked Hickman for his indiscretions but were not allowed to do so by the authorities. He doubts he will play for the club again.
He thinks McNulty would be too expensive to return although it didn’t sound like they had even gone as far as enquiring about him so that one seems to be a non event.
He was very happy to chat and answer questions from anyone who asked for a good while after the event. He did say that he had tried to get Sisu (ie Seppala I would think) to open up and put their side of things and he was interested in how fans felt about her interview (he looked a little disappointed that the response to her interview wasn’t completely positive from those talking to him)
He was asked why, when Sisu will clearly lose a lot of money this season, do they not simply sell. He thought that Sepalla genuinely feels that they have a case in terms of unfair state aid and will pursue it for as long as they can. He thinks that when this ends that may be the time she will choose to go. If they win the European case he can see them suing for compensation. He felt previous bids simply did not meet the true value of the club with Ryton being worth seven million and the playing staff about 12 million (that would surely have to include potential sell on fees for Maddison and Wilson and even then seems inflated to me). He also felt the Club’s name and potential would add to the price.
He thought that Wasps would be losing out on about two million due to City not being at the Ricoh.

Also said that they had sold over 2k season tickets and that he hoped it would be 3k by the time the season starts. With walk up and away fan sales he hoped that they may average 5k with that improving if results are good.

Great intel, thanks. Surely owning the club isn’t important in their compensation claim.?

In terms of value is it far off?

Ryton- fair.

Playing squad? All of their contracts must be worth a good few million? Let's take the average wage of a league one player at £2000 PW? 100k per year. We have a squad of about 25 at the moment? 2.5 million on contract value. Then you have the staff on top and at this moment robins is probably worth a fair wedge in compensation?

Then you add player values? Entire squad (obviously it is constantly changing) but depending on viewpoint we could have potentially very profitable team? Then as you say maddison + Wilson sell ons...

Plus the acadamy has a good track record... so adds value...

Club in my opinion is worth in region of 20 million?

Thanks for the effort into the post by the way! Very insightful and appears both robins and Boddy were very honest! Boddy has been a breath of fresh air to the whole club

Well it is because I imagine CCFC would be a lot more valuable if attached to a stadium which I think is the ultimate goal.

I’d also guess that any compensation claim would be compensation for the club? (Which they’d then be able to pay off their own loans with).

Didn't Wolves go for 30 with a ground, training ground and better quality playing squad than ours including a 10 million striker?

He’s a breath of fresh air and has been a great appointment. As for the takeover, I’d rather have SISU in charge than Hoffman and his franchise backed bid.

Would have disagreed vehemently with that last bit a few months ago but not so sure now.
There's definitely a lot in uncomfortable with regarding Hoffman and his cronies.

If Overson genuinely left the consortium because of wasps involvement then that is definitely something people who care about the club should be worried about.

Imagine getting promoted this season and the EU complaint going SISU way and getting wasps to pay bankrupting them and us buying the stadium cheap

It’s crazy, isn’t it? I’d actually be far more concerned with the Hoffman lot taking over.

It does seem that a couple of visits to Wembley have made SISU aware of the need to actually invest a little more in the team and not just tread water, I think they’ve seen the potential.

That's exactly what Joy Seppalla said in her Sky interview
Wasps have reached the top of their potential and are now in decline but City have the opportunity to achieve far higher returns than in rugby
It's obviously not easy to realise the aim of making the Premier League but Bournemouth, Huddersfield and Burnley are good templates for a club of our current standing

Don't get me wrong, I'm not endorsing sisu, but maybe Hoffman isn't the white knight many of us originally thought.
I've no doubt he's well intentioned but the causes of concern are piling up, from seemingly been taken in by Dale Evans to involving wasps.

Bournemouth especially, and Huddersfield pumped a relative fortune in.

Firstly it's good to see a more positive Ccfc and much improved communication from those running the club. That is to be applauded. Above all it is good to see the positivity from and for the team which basically starts from Robins. He is the breath of fresh air.

A couple of things though from what Boddy said.

I really don't see where any potential compromise can come in. Both sides have nowhere to go and are entrenched. Both sides are putting things in action to reduce risk from the other which in turn pushes any potential compromise further away. Boddy is basically saying what he has always said wasps need to move their position because Sisu won't.

Surely ryton is only worth 7m if sold for development. Any buyer would require it as a training ground or have to build an alternative. As a training ground it is nowhere near worth 7m. The cost of having to build a new one would devalue the 7m in any deal

The playing squad might have a potential value of 12m in a vendors eyes but you would not pay that unless the potential is realised. So any bid would not be straight cash now, which is what Seppala would want I believe (ie a clean break). Also what happens if players don't hit their potential (sale price in effect) wouldn't the purchaser want to factor that in? Any add ons may never happen so you wouldn't pay those until they did so in terms of valuing the club now they add no value at all

The academy is subject to EFL rules on compensation and that could provide a value. But again you have to factor in the simple fact that the vast majority of academy players never make professional football careers. A purchaser would factor that in.

But there is also what they call the football creditors to be factored in which would bring the club value down . I seem to remember that a football finance expert put the value of Ccfc at just over 1m not so long ago. It won't have changed by tens of millions. I certainly wouldn't pay the figures mentioned here to acquire Ccfc

I remain sceptical as to whether Ccfc will return to Coventry let alone the Ricoh. It seemed to me also that wasps were making five year plans without Ccfc judging from the comments made. I do not see Ccfc coming back this season let alone in a few weeks or months. "But the EFL have set it as a condition" they may have but what are they going to do if one of their members can demonstrate there is no where available to do so ?

They keep using this 2m as the cost to wasps but that is just the turnover what about the costs wasps save or the cost savings they can make to cover it. With cost savings and redundancies will wasps be worse off ? It is not the turnover that hurts wasps it is any loss of net profit and cash flow timing.

I would also think Seppala is very much driven by the potential for personal financial loss and not just that of her investors. The long term well being of Ccfc or building a new stadium is way down the list. Her interview was stage managed PR and should be treated with caution. I am not surprised Boddy didn't get the reaction he expected

Just my thoughts and opinions
