Limited allocation at Sunderland (1 Viewer)

Hello. A lad from Sunderland.
I read this thread. After a number of successful years you fell from grace. So did we. I remember the attitude in Coventry when you did because I was often there.
I obviously know the SAFC one.
This post has, thankfully, been filled mostly by sensible people. Sadly the moron club has also had a considerable presence. That is a shame.

You will never be popular with our club for the reasons we all know, but the idiots will not help. They are a scourge on football, as they all are at all clubs.

We have them, as do most clubs. As an ex soldier in a pretty active army I laugh at their attempts at combat from all clubs. We all should. I hope to God there is not a war soon, we would have to hire mercenaries.

Sunderland have a big thread on their forum about this thread.

Any Sunderland reading this...

You haven't won anything since 1973. You lost the city of culture to us even though you're a cathedral-less town and now Burge is joining you!

Good evening!
Sorry was that an attempt to irritate? Try again.

You & those liking your post should be as ashamed of yourselves as the vast majority of City fans will be.

Your actions, &/or those you applaud, are the very sort that mean the huge support the team could've had on the day is no longer possible. Decent fans have been robbed.

Well said. Their action itself Is pathetic, but the effect on decent people (which these idiots are not) stops those decent people from enjoying a day out.

Can we not interest these brain dead morons in Croquet. The mallets might solve our problem.

So because the police and stewards up there are incompetent the allocation gets reduced. From what I remember the vast majority of the 'trouble' seemed to exist only in their heads. In an age where everything is on camera was there ever any pictures or videos that showed up of the supposed carnage?
There is an element of truth there. A huge problem at the SOL is Northumbria Police. Most of them come from north of the Tyne. At your match they were standing and casually chatting whilst bottles, coins and shit were being thrown on our lot, including families. They actually charge us more than our noisy neighbours which annoys us more. As you hit, the stewards are poor as well

There will have been videos, but NP will not have looked at them. They are a disgrace.

Are you saying shit in a specific or generic sense?

As soo as this happened and someone mentioned shit on Twitter I immediately asked that person where the evidence was and they immediately STFU.

If anyone in this day and age actually threw shit there would be pictures all over social media and it would (rightly) be an outrage. Show us one single picture that shows a bag of shit or piss off and stop spreading your own shit.

It’s all fucking lies.

Thanks for coming along and reiterating the fact that most of us football fans from all clubs are decent folk, and its only a few wankers at all clubs that stir the shit. Usually the lowest intelligence and lifes losers.

Thing is who can take you seriously you have said the same thing about every club that has won at the SOL.
Portsmouth accused of exactly the same thing and have also been given a smaller allocation.

Correct me if I’m wrong but there’s been less than 10 arrests since the alleged barrage of missiles.

If the trouble was that bad surely they’d be more? Amount off CCTV in grounds nowadays and your saying they couldn’t identify all these supposed trouble makers.

Your fans did the exact same thing with Pompey fans. Crying when you don’t get your own way. Bore off. And all this shit about the police being Newcastle fans is laughable. Deluded fuckers

Also what is reducing our allocation going to do to stop trouble? because according to your fans on Facebook,Twitter, the deluded RTG forum ALL Coventry fans are scum.

Funny how there’s no evidence to suggest that we are though eh

Do whatever you like...I suspected you'd comment. That was the only reason I read your post.

You have some major issue with me just because I attended a Wasps match against Bath on a free ticket & accepted it...& enjoyed the day. I suspect if you were offered a free to watch CCFC even at some shithole it the back of beyond you would accept it.
Just because you feel strongly partisan towards a. Wasps b. Rugby & c. Rugby fans you seem to get all vindictive like some weird schoolgirl scorned or something.

Get a grip!

If I was offered a free city ticket I'd take it, offer me a free wasps ticket and I'd tell you to fuck off. I like rugby I just hate wasps

Me too, I played high level rugby and like the big international games, less so the club scene as I am always watching CCFC home and away. I have a few mates who support Premiership clubs and what they are telling me about the high profile departures of Wasps top players is lovely to hear. If they went into the Rugby Championship it could bring the end of their Ricoh stay as many of their fans would jump ship as the gulf in class between the championship and premiership is huge.

On the ticket situation: assuming we had no game and my attending would not equal a penny more for their balance sheet. I would go in a full CCFC kit and loudly support the opposing team

Yeah but if you support Bath & you're offered a ticket to watch them for nothing you'd still turn it down?

You understand Bath is a place, it’s not a nickname of a team? And they actually play in Bath.

Yeah but if he went there he couldn't go onto a CCFC forum to tell everybody how great Wasps were over and over and over again while not mentioning CCFC ;)

Players exit Wasps
Wasps Relegated
Wasps exit Ricoh Lease and move to London/Reading
SISU buy Lease from Bondholders/Administrator
CCFC get promoted
Cov RFC get promoted
SISU run CCFC and ACL maintaining Championship Position
SISU sell up
Chinese take over
Invest £££
Get promoted to Premier League
The rest as they say is history...
You heard it here first ;)

Also, the implication there is he supports London Wasps.
Where does your twisted brain get that implication from?

Let me be clear...I have said it several times previously but some can't understand it & get blocked. I support Bath Rugby. Couldn't give a kippers cock about Wasps beyond the fact that they are involved in some political & financial bollocks that has led to us playing away again.

I also look at the bigger picture - there are many people who have supported Wasps for years, who do still, & others who work for them. So ask me if I would like to see them fold & the answer is a resounding NO - I wouldn't.

The point is, what’s your comparison?
You've lost me. I have stated that if you support a club & you are offered a free ticket to go watch them...you'd probably accept it wouldn't you?

That's I what I did. As a result of stating I had a good day out too & CCFC could maybe learn some stuff from them on a snide slag-off Wasps thread I am suddenly Eastwood's right-hand man according to some.

The issue was that you were preaching about how great Wasps were because you went to watch them but had absolutely no clue when people referenced things about CCFC...

If it isn't Brexit, making out football fans to be hooligans or Wasps then you don't bother.

That made no sense. Yes if I supported bath either the rugby team or the football club I would accept a free ticket. Still wouldn't go and see wasps play a team I don't care about though

I don't think anyone is saying we want them to fold long term. But to just loose enough money, players and fans so they go back to being the club they were formed to be LONDON WASPS. If i had to choose however between a franchise club folding and CCFC I would not take long to answer.

Yes do and see what responses you get and keep us all informed as I’m sure other season ticket holders will want clarification too.:emoji_thumbsup:
Response from the ticket office:

Hi

Official Supporters clubs, and we have 4, are made up of individual season ticket holders, not all of those season ticket holders will attend away games, but they are able to purchase away tickets under the same priority as all other season ticket holders, to be fair to them though they only ever buy 1 ticket for themselves so never buy extras, obviously we will not have as many season ticket holders for the coming season as we had at The Ricoh, and the number of tickets you are allowed to purchase will depend on the allocation from the away club, I can confirm that all season tickets are treated exactly the same and can purchase from the first day of sale,

I cannot comment on tickets for Sponsors as I do not know anything about them,

Hope this helps,

Just had email confirmation from tynan scope that no priority is given before season ticket holders. Therefore one of you isnt telling the truth....

Well I thought I was. Maybe “some” tickets get put aside (as I’m sure they do for sponsorship/businesses etc) for the supporters clubs but as previously stated most would be season ticket holders aswell anyway.
