Next Seasons Confirmed Squad/Transfer Rumours (1 Viewer)

From reading MR latest interview I think he’s happy with what he’s got to go with for the start of the season. It also sounds like the pots potentially emptying this summer transfer window too as it’s these 2 players or nothing hence not wasting money on 2nd or 3rd choices. The 2 players he wants depend on weather we get money from a Wilson or Maddison move I reckon. Seems to want to put the final pieces to the jigsaw in, striker and playmaker. With a Wilson or Maddison windfall I’d say he’ll go for bright but wouldn’t it surprise me if we went in for Marquis too.

If this happened I’d safely book that open top bus for May 2020

Surprised we’ve not brought in another out and out RB thought, we’re a 1 or 2 injuries away from a problem position there ‍♂️♂️

It's tricky because Dabo has obviously been brought in as first choice so if you sign another out and out RB you risk ending up with a Grimmer situation - hence the signing of young Pask who can cover there and other positions in the back 4. I think Wakefield has also played there before so can fill in if needed

I think it's pretty safe to assume one is Bright who we would all love to sign.

The second player, I have no idea. Badlan had said not really looking at a striker (ofcourse things could have changed or tried to get the CT off the sent) but would be Interesting to know who we have our eyes on.

I'd say if one if Bright and the deal is there to be done Sisu would speculate to accumulate. he is going places and if they can get him now there is money to make in a year or two

Maybe looking at Tyler Walker on a permanent? He would fit the policy much more than Marquis.

Was thinking that, he specifically mentions 2 players and says about them in august... Is this so that there parent clubs can run the rule over bright and walker before either selling loaning out or keeping?

I do like how people on here, Facebook and Twitter are assuming Tyler Walker after an innocent picture of Martin Tyler and a packet of ready salted crisps appeared on this forum

;)
I like all the hints and all but why can't you say if were in for him or not? Would be great if we are

It was either him or Martin Salter. I imagined Martin would be a bit too old to lead the line.

Think the 2 strikers must be Cheese and Onion. (or Salt and Vinegar)

We're probably die the next instalment of the McNulty fee and Norwich will be paid their instalment from Leicester meaning we get our portion of that. Providing sisu are funding the gap in income between Ricoh and St Andrews then the budget should be pretty healthy.

I get your thinking. In my head though, I think we can almost count the fees as up front and then we spend them up front if you catch my drift. I feel like we would just mirror any outgoing payments with any incoming payments, know what I mean?

LOL reasoned argument... thats how my son speaks when I tell him something he doesn't want to hear "Well' I didnt" "Well, it isnt" haha

There’s no argument to reason with? We didn’t pay 600K or 500K up front - this has been covered on SBT countless times so I don’t understand why people are still blurting out the same figures as it shows a lack of understanding/not bothering to read appropriate posts. We paid an upfront fee that could rise to 500K with add ons. There’s a difference.

Was that another player who we signed in haste of finding a replacement for mcnulty. Did he get injured or something?
