Can I assume the new kit will be available to purchase in the club shop, from Saturday 6th July?

Surely the website will just be a copy and paste job from other hummel sites. It will be open for preorder either Friday night or Saturday morning and that's when I'll get mine.

Good Lord, not only do they charge an outrageous price to buy the kit, but now they want you to pay to see the 'launch'.
Personally, I've never felt the need to buy a team's kit.
You can wear your team's colours by buying a sweater or scarf etc. from an ordinary shop at a reasonable price.

Club have also tweeted a teaser showing a notice No Admittance PhotoShot in Progress

I guess that could be Kit rather than another signing

I am guessing you are not the target audience they are looking at then. There are plenty of fans that like to buy the clubs shirt, either for themselves or for their kids. It's also a Q&A with Robins, it's a good opportunity to improve already improved relations between playing squad and fans. If you don't want to pay £10 to put some questions or hear from the manager and see the launch of the new kit then that of course is absolutely fine, but the club shouldn't be criticised for doing something a) a lot of other clubs will be doing and making some revenue (even if its a negligible amount), and b) for getting some well-appreciated fan/player, fan/manager time. They were criticised for being too distant, and now it's the same for putting on events at a nice venue and charging for the priveledge.

You don’t need a ticket to buy a shirt!
No, but you need a ticket to go to the kit launch, which is what this thread is about.

Anyway, mine are now bought, looking forward to it. (I won't be buying a shirt though, as I'm in the posh bit) I might sponsor a players kit though. £100 is a way of filling the clubs coffers.

Yeah, me and my son are hopefully going-cutting it a bit fine though and a bit of a strange time 6pm.

This. How much do you think it costs to put an event on, even at a cruddy hotel? It’s not cheap that’s for sure.
Don't know which room they're using, possibly a smaller one as its short notice but if it was the marquee which holds 400 that's £13K to hire, which works out at £32.50 per person if its a sell out.

If it was remotely convenient for me to travel up I’d love to attend. I used to go to Coombe Abbey for school summer trips when I was a kid. Not been there in probably 30 years.
