Seppala Interview on Sky Sports News (1 Viewer)

I don't get how the value being raised means SISU get the Ricoh on the cheap. Would they not have to pay the new, higher value?

Only thing that got my goat was wearing that dress and saying she's a Sky Blues fan. It's business and money, I get that and if you have to act in your investers best interests thats fine, but please don't try to kid us it's anything other than that.

Her "first ever TV interview"?? Thats a big wow, my initial thoughts were deperation, we must be more important to the SISU empire than we thought. However, there have been lots of speculation and SISU bashing from our highy regarded local media so she's got to try and put the record straight. Radio silence is not working with the larger population.

Looking at the continuous fluffs and contradictions coming out from Council HQ, it's been the right decision - she knows they have been sneeky themselves and it's the right time to try and take advantage of that. Am glad she went to Sky as this is a major national broadcaster which won't spin the story either way, although someone with more knowledge in the background to the saga could have delved deeper.

She put across fair points and it was good to finally get the top dog to break silence after so many "Joy this" and "Joy that". She and her minions have a lot to answer for but for those that just blame SISU for all our woes, I hope she has opened a few blinkered eyes.
I guess there is a difference between private seller offering at a reduced price to survive, & a government body offering at a reduced price by topping it up with public money?

If Wasps wanted to sell up the stadium for £1 they can do so freely. A council gets rightly slated for it

its the same gamble. Gambling on wasps having to give the stadium back to CCC (so Wasps are in financial hot water) and then SISU relying on then being the only show in town

Would love 7k outside the Ricoh protesting during London Wasps first game and it beamed back to the city players in the dressing room before KO to show them we are not at the game but supporting them this way. Might give them a lift to see it and know that the fans are fighting for the club against those horrid insects.

As supporters, where should our loyalty lie ? Who should we be backing ? SISU ? Wasps ? CCC ? It seems to me that SISU have been stitched up on this occasion ( this occasion, not past occasions although that now seems to be questionable ). I am grateful to Joy Seppala for fighting back and bringing to the fore several things we suspected. I am not SISU lover by any means but on this occasion I think we should support them ?

I only support CCFC, I think it's beyond proven that sisu aren't the only party to blame though and the council and Wasps are conspiring against the best interests of ccfc.

Our loyalty? Bit weird. My loyalty is with Coventry City FC, and only them.

Just CCFC.

OK, then how do we collectively show our loyalty to CCFC ? Going to St.Andrews ? Not going to St.Andrews ? Not going at all? Just away games ?
What, in others opinions, are the best ways to show loyalty to CCFC through this difficult time in our history? "While we sing TOGETHER..... "

Going to St Andrews would be a start, it's not about loyalty either. People should not be judged this time round, this is far different than Northampton.

As supporters the only loyalty is and should only be to CCFC.

The others involved do not deserve our loyalty.

The Seppala PR, which is what it is, is primarily for her and her company's/investors benefit. She has put forward her version of what has gone on, nearly all of which has been expressed before. It doesn't mean it is 100% factual or correct, but it is clear she believes her version and is keen everyone else sees it her way too. There is however a purpose behind it, what that purpose is we can only guess and wait for it to become apparent. I am certainly not grateful to her for her tv appearance.

I remain very sceptical of any statements any of the parties issue, they all try to write their version of history. I would suggest that healthy scepticism of all parties involved is the only sensible attitude to have

Just focus on the football and support the team any way you can or choose. To demand of supporters they must do this or that to be real supporters of CCFC is fundamentally divisive.

The way you support your team is by attending matches and encouraging the players with positive statements, applause, cheers, singing etc.

Anything extra you can do, by way of sponsorship etc helps the club too.

With CCFC and not starving them of funds and giving the other teams in the league a financial advantage by only going to away matches.

Are Wasps owned by a hedge fund though? I remember asking this in a thread in 2017 and it was determined that Richardson owned 75% of Wasps holdings?
75% OR GREATER, is the declaration required by Companies House, so it could be 100% for all we know.
He also owns >75% of shares in ACL and Wasps Finance PLC.

I don’t really get what you’re getting at. How do you want him to support CCFC? I mean, what answer do you want? Does he have to get CCFC tattooed on his arse?

Yes, by Duggins...

His shareholding in Wasps is via Moonstone Holdings a company based in Malta. Unsure if they're actually a hedge fund or just a company domiciled there for tax purposes.

This is how you support CCFC. Not too many self righteous people staying away that day.

Ffs your as bad as the fuckers having a go at people going to St Andrews...

I went both games at wemb and have been a St holder for many years.. I got married at Highfield Road but don't call me self righteous for not going to a home game outside of Cov, I dont berate those going but comments like yours fuck me off.. Everyone chooses their own path so lay off with the snidey remarks

If you go...fine, if you don't fine.... People need to stop slashing other people's views or decisions its ripping the fans apart

Yes, I believe it is now Company Law to state the ultimate beneficiary/persons with significant control as opposed to the actual ownership if said ownership is another company.

At the start of that season many people were declaring themselves finished with the club on social media, not going again until sisu go etc. The same fuckers were then moaning that season ticket holders were able to buy 8 tickets each because they might not be able to go. If you don't belong to this group then fair enough, but don't pretend they don't exist.

I didn’t I highlighted that your post was derisive to a broader spectrum of fans, we all know fuckers only turn up for the glory games but that’s them and the club doesn’t really have the same bond with them as it does me, you and most the lads on here....but we need to stop sniping at each other ...save it for the cunts who got us in this massive catastrofuck of a mess
