Now's the time to do it, before you have to buy your visa waiver (maybe a visa if it goes *really* tits up), extra travel insurance to cover the loss of Ehic, driving permit if you want to drive there, and also take advantage of no roaming charges for your mobile.

All of this will be pretty cheap and easy to acquire. How long does it take to sort out an ESTA? It takes minutes. Most of the places I’ve been to outside the EU have taken less time to see us over the border than those within in it. I was able to use my mobile free in the EU and beyond long before 2016. It was the same for who I travel with.

For what it’s worth as others have said a lot of these countries depend on our tourism. They also depend on what we can offer at GCHQ. Their bankers buy our cars. Their builders buy our JCBs. Most over here get a new smartphone, laptop and tablet every year or two made by a company based in California, Seoul or Taipei City. We offer too much to the world financially and through our products and expertise. The same goes the other way. That isn’t going to change. Our government are making a dogs breakfast of sorting it but it will be sorted in the end.

By all accounts a 3 year travel visa throughout the EU is going to be 7 pound, could be wrong but heard it somewhere.
Anyways just came back from majorca, never had any incling that security was up or the terror threat raised, unless it doesn't come under the same in terms of terror threat as mainland Spain

That’s the exact same simplistic bollocks like “we buy wine, cheese etc so we will get what we want”. What delusional nonsense. The way some go on you’d think the world revolves around the UK.

You replied to “Why wouldn't someone be able to go abroad easily?” With “No deal Brexit mate”, suggesting that it’s not easy to travel to an EU country without being a resident of an EU country.
Again, who said anything about not being able to travel?!? If people stopped reading black v white, life would be a lot simpler instead of deciding what people have said.

So why are we leaving, if it'll be just as easy to travel between us and the EU?

I just got back and didn't notice any difference in security. Attacks could happen anywhere in any country and you cannot allow terrorists to win by staying at home all the time.

One good thing about Spain is you can use the word Hoy, I saw it a few time so looked it up.
Translations of hoy = today
