Maybe we could do a poll to decide on charity from nominations.

For the players, we need to pick from a 'first team'. Who we consider is going to play regularly. Can then be picked out of a hat from that.

Only thing I'd say is that the main benefit of doing this is exposure for the charity. Naturally, SBiTC already get a lot of exposure from the club.

I'm in, as I said on a differant thread, my way of contributing from afar, charity wise, think a poll seems the best bet as so many needy causes out there.

I take it sponsoring Hickman is off the table now ?

Would love it to be for genuine homeless people, i would give to that.
Now i live out here i don't see many people from when i lived in the Cov, but i have been told about people/work friends who i worked with who are now homeless, i hate the thought of that as they were hard working people at Peugeot/Ryton til it closed down and just could not find another job.
These are good people i would have laughed with and gone out drinking with.
I moved out here due to a bad back (the heat helps) and would not get the same job/Pay anywhere else, so sold up.
I was lucky as i have never failed at anything i put my head to and i had the money to back me up, so i risked my own money when i moved out here and brought the business.
Lot's of people don't have that chance and i for one could have been one of them.

Have heard of 2 who committed suicide after they could not provide for their family

I would be in. Like the idea of the season ticket buying happening again too!

Happily contribute to this cause also, and echo the poll idea, too many fantastic causes, sadly.

I'm going to do a second poll just with the top few from each thread (by votes). Not sure people were aware there were 2 polls. Will chuck the new guy in too.

I'm waiting for the club to get back to me on details for sponsorship. Anybody want to get the go fund me started?
