I do think he has a point, if we packed out Sixfields we’d still be there I reckon.

I don't see this being short term but realistically what do you expect to happen if a 5 year limit is put in place?

If Wasps continue to say we can't play at the Ricoh are you suggesting the club is given 5 years and then wound up?

I think it’d be a good way to pressurise SISU to properly pursue the building of our own ground. If there was evidence that work was started but wouldn’t be finished in time for the 5 year timeframe I’m sure at that point there may be more goodwill to look at small extensions.

I agreed with the boycott of Northampton - there was always a stadium to come back to. There isn’t one in Coventry.

What irritated me last time, was some boycotters were the ones who complained loudly when the squad wasn’t invested in and Clarke was signed. Can’t have your cake and eat it

Why is your bottom sentence any different to what CCC (ACL) and Wasps were doing/going to do?

Why is it fine for them to do it but not OK if SISU do it?

Because i'd much rather my money that goes into the club goes to the local council for the city than joy sep sniveling over it with her caymen island counter parts. If we have to pay rent why would you want to be tied to SISU for our future over the citys council? (Not that i dont think the council had a huge part to play in this)

Would we? Is it the same as Blackpool fans got rid of the oystons?

Got rid of the Oystons? I doubt it. But let’s say hypothetically they had upped sticks to Deepdale, a significant drop in attendances (that were low enough already) would have got them back. Under similar circumstances to ours, other club fans are more unforgiving, and we’ve been to apathetic over the wrongdoings for years.

You do realise our rent never went to "the city" right?

It's as if people have a competition to try and out bullshit it each other.

We came back because wasps were moving in.

Maybe because SISU have a vested and financial interest in us being successful. The council have showed multiple times that they’re not interested in the local economy.

Ironically they pushed us into the West Midlands Combined Authority... our money is probably supporting construction in Birmingham’s various projects

Likewise not many other fans groups would support and applaud a franchise rugby team displacing their football team in a ground built for them

Couple of errors there. Firstly no income we pay into Otium finds its way to Coventry City Council. Secondly no withdrawals are made from Otium to the directors, so it doesn’t go to Joy either. All money paid into the club assists with the associated business costs, be that player wages, marketing materials or rent payable to Wasps.
