Why Birmingham? (1 Viewer)

Has it been stated why Brum was chosen?

Yes, its a good stadium and closer but at least with Northampton we weren't outnumbered every week and the percentage of seats filled wasn't too bad.

There will be 25,000 empty seats at Brum next season and for 4/5 games when the likes of Sunderland bring 6000, we'll be outnumbered.

I assume just because it's close and has OK public transport links apart from the walk from centre of Birmingham.

I think there will be one or two other games when there could be more away fans than home, Portsmouth highly likely, Lincoln also

Ipswich depending on form.

Be intriguing to see whether away averaged increase or decrease. Birmingham is easier to get to for most.

Well if true that they sounded out The Butts, Bescot & Rugby - it wouldn't surprise anyone that the check Brum either. Just that the others couldn't or wouldn't agree to.
