As for St Andrew's, I genuinely believe we'll be made to feel more welcome there than we are currently at the Ricoh.
And if the money can't go direct to the club, then I'd rather my stadium spend went into Blues pockets than those conniving, slimy bastards that run the insects.

I wonder what Birmingham will be charging us for rent.
But then if it is a low rent and Sisu are very comfortable with the situation, what incentive is there then for them to get a new stadium built, considering that is something that they simply do not do.
Obviously as fans, we want the club to be as financially stable as possible, but with no faith in the EFL, the last thing we want is for our owners to be completely comfortable with a groundshare long term.
I only hope that those fans with money in their pockets spend it at Cov Rugby then. The biggest blow to Wasps would be if Cov started attracting more of the Rugby fans in the locality. CRFC need to get off their arses now and hype up their marketing.

Commercially, I can't see how it works for more than a few years. Rent is likely to be equivalent or more and attendances lower. The EFL are spineless, agreed, but even they will tire of it eventually you'd think, and they have got a million pound bond, apparently.
Best hope is probably that Wasps fold or realise that they're cutting their own throats with where this heading. Financially and from a PR point of view, they're in a tight spot too.

As soon as the fixtures are announced I will be booking time off work to come down to the first home game. I hope there is a big turnout so we can get behind MR and the team and that something can be arranged to show our disgust towards the council and the insect scumbags.

I know it's been said before, and I don't know if CRFC would want to be 'involved' but I'd be game for as many as possible of us turning up for a Cov game early in the season as a protest / highlighting who the proper rugby team in the city is.

The only issue I have with that is endording their collaboration with Cov Utd and David Johnsons cronies. They'll be after our fans saying watch football in the City to our only team. Tbh I'd rather protest at Wasps than support Cov rugby

Cov rugby have no bones with CCFC , the City scores are announced as each goal goes in. Many fans support both Coventry clubs. Jon Sharp didn't want to get mixed up with SISU and who could blame him but that wasn't against the football club. Everyone hates the lying wankers !

Could be advantageous too if City's games are on Sundays and Cov's on Saturdays.
I tend to agree, for me cost sometimes is hard to justify, I have to travel close on a 60mile round trip just for a home match this now will be over 100miles, I support when money allows.

It's a fair point. Tags a longer journey on coming from the south and obviously the train fare is more if you are coming up from London etc.

I’ve decided the best course of action is to now find the exact references to these types of things. People need to be educated/reminded of things that have gone on (in a non-patronising sense). There are so many segments of the story that have been theoretically erased from history that the facts need re-stating.

This is the point though. Certain bits of the commentary are completely missed out to form a certain narrative. I don’t doubt that you’ve innocently not known about the initial plans but we’ve seen people repeat over and over that the rugby club have never had an intention to share. It’s simply not true.

Premiership fixtures are out Wednesday I would guess that we will be playing at St Andrew's the same Saturday Aston Villa will be at home as Villa and Blues never play at home on the same day...I would hazard another guess that games against Sunderland will both be moved to Sunday 12 o clock kick offs .... oh I have heard a rumour that it's going to be £10 for adults on a match to match basis so season tickets what £170-£180 ?
