If true, this is disgraceful. I really think we need a board overhaul of the Trust and with 4 appointments due in July I’d like to see some of us take the opportunity to get control of the Trust and use it as a vehicle to further support CCFC, rather than consistently undermine it. Unfortunately I have far too much on my plate to be able to take such a role seriously but if circumstances were different I’d be putting myself forward. I hope there are some who can put their energies to good use (Grendel I’m looking at you).

Edit: I’d also want to know what roles are to be vacated within the Trust. Can’t see any mention of it. Maybe I’m not looking hard enough.

We can't get 12k for a big game at the Ricoh.

The highest crowd next season will be Sunderland. 10k with 6000 Sunderland.

I do not really follow the trust and all the ramblings on here about them but if they are communicating boycotting St Andrews I am truly disgusted. They cannot be City fans, if that is there view. Unbelievable.
This is completely different to Sixfields.

But then Sixfields was more complex than the dominant narrative too.

Not really. People not being able to go is exactly that, its people not being able to go. Could be time, could be logistics, could be them not fancying it.

Boycotting is saying you could go but you are choosing not to in protest.

What happens this time next year? Are SISU pinning everything on Wasps going bust? More dangerous games. This has a permanent endgame feel to it this time. There will be no SISU fantasy stadium.

Well that's the worry for me. This deal is just one year. Why do we think that in 12 months any stance will change? Just become more entrenched won't it?

The one year is probably the EFL as much as anything. They don't want to be seen to be endorsing the club moving away long term.

Unless we smash the place up, ruin the pitch or don't pay them can't see why they wouldn't extend it.

I don't imagine there will actually be a massive increase in cost for cov based fans.

Looking for myself (from rugby) it is £5:70 return to Birmingham. I would spend more than that on a train to Ricoh. Or even driving and parking? For cov based fans most still had to drive or get lifts and hence parking etc etc.

I expect the tickets will be cheaper as they were at northampton. So overall I don't think people will be out of pocket.

Again in terms of time.... It will probably add an hour on total to mists journey. But not really that off putting for many... Most people don't care is the real problem

Be a lot more than an hour for me I reckon.

40 mins walk to the Ricoh (if I cut up the A444). 50 mins if I walk round.

To St Andrews, it would be 40 mins walk to the station, then 30 mins train to Birmingham (allowing for wait or it maybe being the slow train and getting off and through the station and barriers etc.) and then 20 mins walk I believe to the ground.

That's 40 mins against 90 mins.

A worry has to be the impact on the budget. We are already committed to £1m bond. Add to that a fall in season ticket sales, it all looks like we could need to sell players to fund existing running costs.
Any short term windfall from a Callum Wilson sale is bound to be eaten up on day to day costs rather than improving the current squad.
I feel really sorry for MR & his staff who must feel the progress made in the past 2 seasons will be lost.
Depressing !

Hopefully the club will arrange coaches from various parts of the city. Think that was a major omission last time round. If they don't maybe fans groups and the like will arrange their own.

Fair enough, I guess financially you will also break even depending on how much tickets are cost

I've always respected Moz and the hard work he puts in despite often disagreeing with him, but if his stance is to boycott and tries to speak on behalf of the supporters then he can fk off too. The very minimum a trust should do is canvas its members for opinion and seek to represent their views not use it as a vehicle to promote their own. Another group not fit for purpose.

As for 20k not a chance. I'd love you to be right buy I think if we get 5k we've done well.
