Several top flight clubs in Europe share the same stadium. How would we feel about sharing a new stadium with Birmingham at say the NEC ?

The situation is mad. It doesn’t make sense. Now I might be naive but think about it. It’s in Sisu’s interest to make as much money as possible from the club. We were promoted last season and just missed out this season. I just don’t get, never have understood the council. Why on earth sell your home ground to a London rugby club. Utter madness. Sisu have made massive mistakes, but for gods sakes our council and wasps are a disgrace.

SISU take £x out of the club regardless (in terms of balance sheet). Drop in income = drop in ££££s available to CCFC. Extra income = extra for CCFC. SISU have tried to make us self sustaining, which is a good thing (about the only good thing they have done)
I think when it came down to it one hedge fund threatened to have them all in court........and the other slimy shits slithered in charming them with a way to be able to stick two fingers up to the aggressive crowd. Result CCFC fucked over and even worse. ..still owned by that bitch of all bitches Seppala !

Efl have said that there has been a 1 million bond provided by the club to ensure we return to the city. As well as legal guarantees it can't be permanent

If they had built a new stadium for the commonwealth games there I could have easily seen that happening. its only slightly over the mileage allowed by the EFL so bound to have been allowed.
However the stadium is going to be in Brum so thats the end of that.

I haven't read the entire thread but I haven't seen anyone mention that even if Wasps do go bust they don't have to sell the ground to SISU. They will make far more selling it for housing like at Highfield Road.
And of course even if SISU did prove the council were wrong to sell to Wasps it doesn't mean they will be entitled to compensation. State Aid affects everyone not just the owners of a football club.
I can't see a scenario where the Sky Blues own their own ground unless they build it for themselves, and that will never happen under SISU. They are not in the business of building things.

If we had to move out of the city, Birmingham is the best possible place.
Only 20 miles away, easy to reach by car, bus or train.
Probably superior pitch (although smaller) and facilities.
Transport
The nearest railway station to the stadium is Bordesley, on the Birmingham to Stratford Line between Moor Street and Small Heath stations, which has regular services only on match days. The stadium is a 20-minute walk from New Street station, which is served by direct trains from most parts of the country, and slightly less far from Moor Street, which is served by Chiltern Railways trains from London Marylebone. Birmingham Coach Station, served by National Express coaches, is a 15-minute walk away, and buses run from the city centre past the ground. There is very limited parking at the stadium itself, but a secure outdoor car park is available at Birmingham Wheels Park, less than 15 minutes walk away, and parking is permitted in the streets surrounding the ground.[54][2]

Absolutely. Some supporters seem to think that SISU did the right thing in pursuing the EU option, that somehow if SISU are proven to be correct then all our troubles are over. Naïve unfortunately.

I suggested this should have been the approach a few weeks back. We needed to get people who don't give a flying about CCFC onside and to do that show how much we bring to the community. Speak to the casino, pizza hut, pub landlords, chip shop owners etc and get them to estimate the loss of earnings and loss of jobs in the event of a groundshare. Splash the findings all over. You then have an angle of attack against Council/SISU/Wasps.
Shame the Trust would rather just shout SISU out.
