We understand Wasps were also seeking in the collapsed confidential talks other indemnities and protections against other potential losses for the rugby club – and related parties.

The club and its owners Sisu believe Ricoh owners Wasps rugby club’s final conditions as an ultimatum for extending tenancy arrangements are “undeliverable” – and could bankrupt the club.

This is the key line:
The club and its owners Sisu believe Ricoh owners Wasps rugby club’s final conditions as an ultimatum for extending tenancy arrangements are “undeliverable” – and could bankrupt the club.
Reading the article it seems Wasps were insisting the club indemnify them if they and / or the council were found to be in the wrong. No way the club would agree to that and its quite right that they shouldn't.

Be interesting to hear more about this, not just indemnity? What other protections are they seeking and why would the club be expected to cover other related parties as well as Wasps, who are they including in that?

Who is a related party in it all?

to be honest I wont believe it either way until the club put it up, but if its true that sisu have rejected the terms then I fully expect an explanation as to either what the terms were or the reasons why they rejected the deal.

Any City fan who attends a Wasps match now should be fkn banned from the stadium. I hope thy go bust sooner rather than later and the court ruling completely bankrupts all associated.

Hopefully now the confidentiality clause can be broken and we'll get to hear exactly what the conditions were from the horrible fkn parasites.

very disappointing. its closer and nice stadium than northampton sure but prob 4k fans in a what 25k stadium? not gonna be much noise to roar the players on in promotion hunt.

war of attrition. we have to survive and somehow get to championship. and hope wasps go bust. what other way back is there for us? council will not let us build a stadium

Shouldn't the Council imdenify Wasps, given they are potentially the ones that undersold the Ground?

The club have merely pointed out that a law has potentially been broken haven't they?
