Liking the look of this signing, and "if" we keep Willis i think thats the back line sorted as he can cover RB.

1 winger, 1CM and 1 striker and i think we're there, feeling positive already...

Happy with this signing played at a higher level looks faster & stronger than sterling in a you tube video I’ve just seen.

Think we might need a few more than that. Firstly, Willis won't sign, I think that's more or less a guarantee considering who he's receiving interest off. So as a result we still need:
x1 RB - replace Grimmer
x1 CM - if Bayliss leaves
x1 CAM - hopefully Bright
x1 LM - Shipley isn't a winger, Allassani will probably be loaned out again and Jodi won't be back this season. Leaves us only with Hiwula on the left
x1 RM - replace Thomas
x1 ST - Instead of Baka / Chaplin

Jodi is back in training, end of October i think they said he's back

That's without complications though? Plus, he looked half the player he was last season when he came back from his first ACL injury. We'll need cover until at least January.
We deffo need at least 2 in my opinion, push Hiwula upfront with bright hopefully behind him

He'll need a few months to get match fit considering he hasn't played consistently in two years. I'd say January at the bare minimum is when he'll return and there's no guarantees he'll be anything like he was.

I've seen a few posters lack understanding of how serious one ACL injury actually is, let alone two in a row on the same knee. This used to be an instant career ending injury not so long ago so I really wouldn't get my hopes up about JJ. In my opinion his career at League One level is finished. But that's only my opinion I'm sure people will disagree with me.

Well on paper seems a good addition. As usual I will reserve judgement until we see him playing.

He looked frightened when he came back. IIRC he was subbed in one game because he was so worried he'd been hurt again. Getting over an injury is hard, but getting over the mental issues it appears to have caused will be just as difficult. His future career will be defined by his mentality more than his ability imho.

Seems a very good signing on paper (I feel like my girlfriend having Love Island on while I’m reading/on my phone/doing anything else, is already having a detrimental impact on my vocabulary).

You’d expect a similar pedigree to Sterling based on his youth experience and England caps. However, maybe unfairly, you’d expect even more from him as he’s got that plus more experience playing in competitive and decent standard leagues.

Exciting seeing the team coming together, especially this early on.

Realy excited with this signing. Own goal was brilliant, left foot as well.

Keeping the haircut signing theme for another season?

The more I’ve read the more happy I am with this signing seems a bit of a coup this one Europa League experience he looks very quick strong & direct an updated version of Sterling who’s been on the radar for years.

Our defence is looking solid! Imagine if Willis stays too, we shouldn't be conceding many goals at all

All we need is some creativity in that number 10 role and a winger

Think Willis is gone mate tbh but yes would be good if he did stay mate,I do think we need a left back tho mason is too small I feel.

Personally think it’ll be a waste of funds if Willis stays. Would rather dedicate the funds put aside for his contract to bring in the likes of Bright.

Let's face it - playing on The Ricoh pitch (or others), when it cuts up are not conducive to the twisty style of play JJ has (in respect of knee injuries)

Really hope for his (and our) sake that he makes a full recovery (but not counting on it).

Has a corcker of an own goal on him

Only just saw this on Youtube so funny. Goalkeeper is an absolute idiot why isn't he handling that? Best case referee deems it a miskick so nothing. Worst case yellow card and freekick in the box.

Got to say Dabo is a fantastic signing. Along with Marosi and Walsh got to be the signings of the season. Hopefully we go up otherwise going to struggle to keep hold of him! Got to be a good thing that we can attract players like that though.

Wish Walsh was a permanent signing (same for O'hare). Hopefully we can make them permanent in the off-season.
