They ticket cars in Ash Green for City and Wasps games so guessing they’ll be doing it tonight too.

As much as I like to laugh at Wasps I find it quite sad how rapidly things have gone downhill at the Ricoh. The top people at ACL may not have given a shit when it was under council / Higgs control but the staff on the ground were good at their jobs and very highly regarded in the industry, in fact several awards were won.

Now they can't even organise getting people in to the venue. Its the same with our match days, its a noticeable downhill trend.

Add in that in an age where most companies are quick to respond to any social media criticism they complete ignore anything that isn't praising them. Why are they not taking on board what their customers are saying.

Edit: just had a look myself on twitter, seems its not just problems getting in. People posting that it mayhem inside the stadium and the support act is inaudible.
Inaudible eh?... There is a god..

I got my girlfriend and her mate to walk the final 20 minutes because our satnav predicted we'd be stuck in traffic for the same amount of time.

What other modes of transport are feasible for the ricoh? It seems so poorly connected to other parts of the city. Love that we're getting these kind of events but it's crazy how our infrastructure just shuts down

Another mode of transport that might be considered is the train that stops right outside the stadium - the only issue is that it costs 13.6 million to build and doesn't seem to run very often

See lots of people have been tweeting the Telegraph and their reporters but virtually no mention on their live blog. Just a 'get here early as there's a queue'.

Ricoh has never been able to handle big crowds but the stadium has never put on the right amount of staff.

Wasps pretend they run the stadium well but we all know they don't.

I guess it’s 90% women there tonight that’s got to lead to massive queues for loos whatever the stadium. Bet loads of women in the blokes some using urinals!

Just a twitter search hundreds of people complaining about taking an hour to get in and being absolute chaos and unsafe outside

It’s just rubbish - these people have no idea how to run a business - every minute in the queue is lost business - those if you who went the hand in hand FGS on match days - you never waited to be served they were on the case . As for the ladies blame the architects their logarithms for the numbers of women who attend a sports fixture are incorrect for a spice girls concert so it’s bound to happen - and as for the train that’s the biggest joke - I could write a book on that one - whoever sold the green stadium bit in an out of town site wants shooting - rant over oh and by the way motorbike or scooter is probably the most efficient way !

its not a stadium built for 50% attendance of women, let alone more than that...

the food and drink thing is poor, but despite the attendees losing out, its the events company who lose out more, they really should have roaming people with back packs of beers etc.

A lot to be learnt from german football events. Even at £20 a head they will have lost several hundred thousand tonight if they aren't fulfilling drink demands

oh well, why do we care ,its nowt to do with us

Do they utilise the exhibition hall for the larger gigs? A few bars/food kiosks/portaloos set up in there would be handy..... been to a few gigs at the Etihad and they have bars/loos set up outside the stadium but still inside the security/ticket check area. But I suppose with the ricoh the car parks get in the way.

There are hundreds of people kicking off. Strange how they didn't search bags for that but take kids drinks off them at football.
