warwickshire one day season fizzling out. Been a poor one but injuries been a major factor. At least some youngsters have got some playing time. Bout time they gave up on Pollock though.

I haven't had any interest in Warwickshite cricket since they had Dennis Amiss in the team.
PS. I realise I mispelled Warwickshire but I decided to not correct it.

They don't seem any better in the long form of the game either: got spanked by Hants by 304 runs, and bottom of the county championship. Sad, really.

Lack of on field investment and poor recruitment one of the best batters in the last decade retires and bring in two bowlers which only replace the two bowlers that left

Stone back batting and fielding for the seconds but now bowling. With the instruction of Archer and Wood’s performance in the West Indies, could he be slipping down the pecking order?

Archer looking like a limited over specialist.
Sadly England will break Wood again at some stage. He really looks the part when he's fit in all forms.
Stone needs bringing back carefully. Do wonder whether they've rushed brooks a bit as doesn't look same as last season

Archer will feature in the Ashes no doubt about it. They’re drooling over him already.

Norwell gets a haul after batting collapse.
But ridiculous extras from 1st innings mean a target of 205 seems a big one

40 runs from no-balls 1st innings pretty decisive.
inexperienced kids in top 6 on lively wicket always going to be tough.
don't see enough runs in this side at CC1 particularly with Rhodes struggling to adjust to a higher level also.

As long as they are making lots of money the cricket is secondary

Bloody hell this Norwell is having a good start to life with the Bears!
watched him bowl 1st innings of Somerset game and didn't look the part. 2nd innings different story.
Whisper it quietly but we're in danger of a 1st innings lead here :)

Good win for the Bears. Nearly choked :) Hannon Dalby in a nice run of form, Rhodes finally got some runs.
