Why?

Groundshare only affects the fans. I doubt the manager and players care, they still get paid.

If anything they probably prefer it as they don't have to play on a shit pitch churned up by rugby
The issue for Robins will be if there’s a drop in revenue from attendances & season ticket sales meaning he doesn’t have the resources to achieve success. At that time he’s bound to look elsewhere

the truth is somewhere in between that I suspect.

Clearly they would welcome a better pitch, but surely any employee would like to work in the best surroundings. As far as league one and below goes, there aren't many better than the Ricoh

Still think it will be the Ricoh anything else at this very late stage I believe will have a very negative effect on the ccfc attendance gates which have struggled back to the 11/12k mark will collapse again as they did at Northampton.

You can’t train on it and the pitch is awful

I just don't think having learned the lesson of Huddersfield he will likely jump ship this time. He has a safe unchallenged position at CCFC and is mapping it out as he sees fit..

unchallenged ?

I'll say it

Football is a short career. Going out whilst on top is about the best thing that players and managers can control

So they would rather play in front of 3000 fans instead of 12,000 really?

Do they really care? They get paid the same whether they pay in front of 3k or 12k.

Yeah playing in front of 12k is probably preferable to them on paper but as long as they're getting paid I don't think they are really that bothered.

The players all want to stay at the Ricoh if possible
Of course the pitch is a problem but they'd prefer to put up with it rather than play on a good surface as exiles

I posted a few weeks ago that Robins will leave for the right opportunity if we end up ground sharing. He had been told it wouldn't happen, so will feel terribly let down.
Sorry I missed your original post - Who said that? What was the context?

I think it's getting late enough in the day for gates at the ricoh to be affected should we not hear anything by the end of next week . People will put their money into other things.

Will they really though? We know that season tickets will be launched, just keep the money there.

I'd bet most making a point of saying they have spent it on something shite instead had no intention of buying a ST and probably didn't buy the other thing either.
