I have lots of Adidas trainers that are looking grubby, any tips for cleaning them as I don’t want to ruin them!

ever thought about re dying?
Never done it my self but I'm sure they'll be a youtube video or something showing how. I've pictures of redyes on social media and they look brand new afterwards.

I always put my Gazelles in a washing machine....come out spot on. Just make sure you stuff them with newspaper as they dry to keep their shape. Remove the laces and put them in a pillow case with the trainers when you wash them

Cheers lads, I was tempted by throwing them in the machine but was worried about how the suede would react!

Sneakers ER are class. I'm into my trainers and have used them and Lution Footwear (based Liverpool) They both do postal cleans and repairs though. Pretty amazing what they can do.

Do NOT put them in the washing machine!!!

Most of these places do Balenciaga, Louboutin etc repairs so worth paying 40 quid for fix. Standard trainers as someone else said, probably worth just buying a new pair really.

You can buy all the gear you need to repair trainers from that Sneakers ER. It's just having the know how really.

The patience as well :( Wish I had seen it, I had a nice pair of Air Max and read toothpaste makes them white again. Think I tried it and they are in a cupboard somewhere.

For anyone into their trabs...SneakerDealsGB on Twitter are well worth following. They post deals all day.

At the minute they have Air Max 720 for 85 reduced from 160. Not them that sell but they find out the deals and share.

Got some Adidas Handball Spezial for only 50 yesterday.

Great these places aren't they? Make your old ones as good as new for next to nothing!
I bought a pair of ‘electric’ pink Gazelles last last year that I love but being pink and being in the UK they got very dirty very quickly so £15 to get them gleaming again is a bargain!

Know the feeling. I got some Oyster Holdings Spzl sky blue with baby pink touch on them and they get fucked so easily. Hardly wear them now.

How does he do this?

Back in the day I used to love all black boots so would try shoe polish but didnt quite work!!

Will that make the white stripes go black like that?

No, clear polish and clear dobin just enriches the leather. I use clear polish on some brown brogues I've got for work (as it the shoes have a slightly miscoloured look), it brings them up like new.

Ah, I meant how he made the stripes black. I have some leather conditioner I used that made them nice and soft.

I assume it's some special dye to make the stripes black?

You can buy leather dye to do that, I've got a few different dyes as planning to do some overhauls to some of my trainers.

Sneakers ER mentioned above sells dyes...

Cheers, I will have a look. Guess it's just matching it to be the exact shade of black!

Meeting this chap on Monday to get 4 pairs cleaned, randomly he’s working literally just down the road from me, and he’s asked me to share his Facebook page with you so do him a favour and give him a like and share it with your mates!
