Not what I asked though is it?

If there are two empty spaces why can one not be for a member from this forum?

Maybe we should just make sure we send as much representation to the meeting as we can and select a single member to vote for.

Any Trust member on here or not on here is more than welcome to put themselves forward. If you can’t make the meeting and want to vote you can appoint a proxy to do so on your behalf.

Am I reading that right because it sounds like you have to attend the meeting to vote which is ridiculous in this day and age.

I would definitely put Grendel forward. Bastard that he is he’s definitely a city fan and it would be better having on at others than us all the time.

What a wonderful compliment

Of course although pigeon post is being considered as an option if the meeting approves it

Sorry. I’ve just spoken to Roger and he said if an election is required the procedure will be sent out detailing it. However he thinks you should be able to vote by email.

A Twitter vote would be more reliable

No it wouldn’t be. There’s no way of checking if they’re a Trust member or not.

What if I signed up to the trust 5 years ago and no longer have access to that email? Voting by email is a really long winded way and is prone to all sorts of issues.

It's antiquated to be fair, you could give every trust member a login and then one vote per login.

Then notify us like others have done to change your email address. Plenty have done it when they’ve moved jobs etc.

Thought we were going anyway to encourage the Trust to get behind future protests more effectively?
How many members of the trust is there, might need to hold the meeting somewhere bigger than the back room of a pub if everyone is expected to turn up and vote.

How you'd bond with Roger Ellis...?

Anyway, stand on a platform on giving a voice to this forum. Stand on a platform of inclusivity and widening the message. I'd vote for you on that :)
Sorry Northern but your talking about Grendel. The person who character assassinates people without a thought. You want him to stand on a platform of inclusivity you're having a laugh.

I believe that last year one vote was enough to get elected, so if they struggle to get people to put themselves forward again it won't matter too much what the process is for voting.

I don’t think someone whose has such stinging criticism from a parliamentary select committee is a suitable ambassador. The assassination was done by the committee having evaluated the evidence. I fail to see how my comment negates inclusivity

See - I think away from a forum there's space for him. I tend to treat forums as a bunch of nobodies just typing shite, although I agree some of the abuse directed at trust board members often seems... excessive, and also unfair on occasion in my view, as then they're actual people rather than a stupid pseudonym.

I do however think that checks and balances are always helpful. One thing's for sure, if Grendel was on the Trust board, nobody could accuse them all of being pro-Wasps! It might also allow some empathy for various positions and work done too, don't you think?

Plus if it went wrong, we could throw the bricks at Grendel, rather than CJ taking all the flack ;)

(FWIW, I hope CJ and Moz both stand again. Don't always agree with them(!) but at least they're visible and active. The other pair? I have no clue what they've done, for good or ill!)

To be fair I feel guilty about calling Moz a moron - he didn’t seem that bad and turned up
