By all accounts this lad improved massively in his time at Doncaster where as we can all agree Burge has gone backwards this year. Burge needed a fresh start and hopefully Marosi can replicated his improvements with Donny here.

Also, the number one won’t mean anything they have just grabbed a kit for a photograph.

Couple of good saves here but 2 decent goals scored for us

Nothing to do in the last game.

There are three crosses from us into the six yard area that he doesn’t come for in that highlights reel. Two lead to goals. In contrast Burge comes for and clears their one cross into the same area - which is then returned into the mix and they score.

Forgotten what the point was now!

This move appears to make sense for me.
He's basically the same age as Burge (just slightly younger) 25 for a goalkeeper means you have potentially a lot of your career ahead and hopefully enough first team experience behind you.

We could have kept Oggy and Burge, the academy player coached by the club legend.
We now have Aled Williams coaching Marosi, and perhaps a total refreshing of personnel is what's required.

Best of luck to Marosi - I hope we can find a more experienced keeper to compete now too.

Burge conceded 50 in 40 games (1.25 GAA) in L1 last year.
Marosi conceded 47 in 36 games (1.3 GAA) in L1 last year.

Seems a like for like replacement. Glad we've got a proven keeper in though.

The best chant by far. Up there with “You’re not very good”

And “what the fuckin hell was that”
I quite like "Is there a fire drill" and one we've not been able to sing for a couple of seasons now "how shit must you be, we're winning away" - in fact I'm probably one of only a few who likes it when we've been consistently crap and I have zero expectations.

Reading comments from people on twitter, I get the feeling Doncaster fans are a bit bitter due to a mistake he made in the playoffs and with the club not reaching his demands.

Hard to gauge, a couple say he's very good a couple say he's bad.

I remember when forest fans told us David mcgoldrick was dreadful :)

I'd be surprised if we are signing him as a number 2 when Doncaster couldn't get anywhere near his demands as their first choice.

Could be another situation like Junior Brown though where he expects more starts but is usurped by the perceived stand in.

Also positive that we don’t appear to be letting the ground uncertainty

a) slow down the transfer process/activity
b) result in us switching to plan b or c in terms of recruitment. Outbidding teams when we don’t know our budget

It surprises me but I’m not complaining. Robins is determined to give it a real go next season regardless!

Yes I’m really surprised we could outbid them. Very reassuring.

He can't be that bad as he hasn't needed to delete his twitter

Great to see we are making signing. Lets hope we get some more in the door

Don't know too much of him, other than he played a decent role in Donny's playoff bid.

It's another keeper that is susceptible from crosses (made an error at Sunderland live on Sky), but positively Marosi can use his feet and play out - which I think Robins highlighted as a reason to signing Marosi.

I will not judge the player until he lines up for us, but good to see we are signing players regardless of the Ricoh situation.

Nice to see we have signed him, and has experience of playing regular games in this division for a team that made the playoffs.

Hopefully our new keeper coach can help him dominate the box as that seems like the only real criticism from Donny fans. They offered him a contract and he rejected so they must have wanted to keep him.

Looking forward to seeing him play!
