I'm no fan of Robinson but it wouldn't be the first Daily Mail / Tory baseless hatchet job on somebody associated with Labour or trade unions etc.

All seems a bit far fetched. As Paymaster General is one of the top 3 or 4 jobs in government he would’ve been privy to all sorts of information. Didn’t he have to resign due to a loan or something like that?
