Completely possible. We know SISU can pull some shady stuff but seems incredibly risky even by their standard.

Agreed very risky and would depend on what advice they would receive of it standing up in court. Tbf they might not even want it to stand up even if it just give them an excuse to stress wasps further with more court action given their financial situation. I don’t know I just would like to hear their side of the story as lots of questions at the moment.

This complaint won’t stress them in court though will it? It sounds like it would only be things like document summons.

Nah but it's about getting rid of sisu init, not about legals etc. The 'leak' about the commission complaint was executed so smoothly it wouldn't surprise me if it was choreographed by Duggins. Such was the cunning and smoothness of it.

Apologies should have been more clear my point was if wasps threw them out after the extension was signed, following finding out about the complaint, Sisu could take them to court over breach of contract regarding the extension rather than the complaint.

Can we have our stadium crests back? Put Velcro on the back and stick em on the stand of wherever the fuck we end up playing.

Also we want our JH statue on a wheelie trolley.
Let’s put it all on the back of a fecking trailer and pitch up at whatever tin pot midlands club we can FFS. They are turning us into a bunch of fecking pikies ... I’m getting sympathy down the local from Leics fans FFS....

It's amazing how many are in full force on social media. It's old school "sisu payroll" stuff as well.

People are gobbling it up.

Its almost as if one side has been feeding information to the media while failing to tell the other side involved in the actual talks.

And how will that stop the EC investigation?

hilarious. Not as though sisu have never fed news to Les Reid before it came common knowledge. that’s what sources are there for. your so one sided in your tinted sisu loving glasses. if they fuck off we won’t be in this mess. why can’t you see that?

If they fuck off, who is going to buy us to make them go?

How will SISU leaving get us out of this mess?

Just in another mess under Hoffman and the like, one of the people who bought them here, but that's ok because he's a Coventry supporter, that much of one he wants to create a new team that himself and his followers want, even if that forces the collapse of a team we already have, called Coventry City Football Club

Ha it will probably be funny. Don't tell me they have started up on there too? It's amazing how they are all in tune with each other.

Any normal council would be furious about this. I was just thinking about the amount of cash I spend in the city over 20ish games a year, how many of the average attendance come from outside the city? Plus all the away fans too. Must mean a lot less revenue for the city, all to avoid a case where they've (according to the courts) done nothing wrong and therefore have nothing to worry about. Insanity.

There are a lot of conspracy theorist on here who seem pretty sure of them selves.
I think when the dust settles negotiations will get back on course.
WASP concerns could be eradicated by a caveat in the deal in the unlikely event SISU can't withdraw their request to the EC.
The deal can be shortened allowing for some time to elapse where the EC will take yeras to investigate and return any outcome.
It would also allow for the prospect of us being out the EU and therefore the complaint will die with it in the next few months or so.
So yes pull your fingers out of your backsides those of you negotiating and get a deal done.

The sad thing is that someone like the Bet365 bitch could buy CCFC AND the Ricoh AND Wasps with a years salary & make a bloody good fist of things!

If its St Andrews because we cannot move forward with a ricoh deal then I've changed my mind, I'm going.
The club, the players and the manager are not responsible for the wankstains off the pitch and deserve the fans support

We really should stick together if we can, show these wankers that whatever they do to try pull our club down we will still be behind them

I will be renewing mine and my sons season tickets and may get one for my younger son don’t care if we are in Birmingham I can protest all I want but it won’t change the decision makers minds.

I don't disagree with Lurker's anger towards SISU, but agree that without a realistic alternative (i.e. nobody will give them what they want/need to go) it is pointless saying 'Go' Feck Off, etc. SISU are harder to get at, without harming CCFC, which is why a lot predictably, and rightly in some areas have aimed their fire at CCC and Wasps. Hoping there is a resolution, as no deal doesn't do anybody any favours. I'll get a season ticket regardless, and decide who to aim my anger at as events unfold. Let's not squabble amongst ourselves. For we are Coventry United (scratch that last bit!)

If the EC application was made back in February, well before the final court judgement, were SISU always expecting a negative conclusion from the courts?

It has been naughty of them to keep this detail out of talks, so they’ve only themselves to blame imo.

All parties are still to blame for the whole saga, and it needn’t have got to this point, but SISU really have made an error by omitting this information before now.

Do sometimes think there’s a ‘top trumps’ game going on between Reid and Gilbert, but as journalists neither are going to keep quiet if they get wind of an ‘exclusive’. Just a shame that every ‘Exclusive’ usually ends up with Atleast one of the parties releasing a statement which doesn’t help us fans as it usually means talks are stalling!

Sad times!

Might as well start looking for a holiday as even if a pre season ‘tour’ does go ahead (guess it’ll be pre season as normal for the squad irrespective of our home venue status etc), I’m not sure I want to go out my way for the Club anymore. Not like they have the fans at the forefront anymore is it!

Whilst the Club and the Owners try to distance themselves from one another at every opportunity, I can’t buy that; they are one and all imo! (Also don’t believe the Club wouldn’t have known about this EC application)

Is it even possible for a complaint to be withdrawn? I’ve had a look on the website and can’t see any procedure for this but you presume there would be. Even so I doubt Sisu would withdraw this for talks to continue therefore groundshare it is and with no prospect of a new home been built anytime soon situation looks bleak.

My understanding is that, once the EC have decided to investigate the complaint, it can be withdrawn, but the EC may decide to continue with their investigation.

Sisu could be clever then and say we've dropped the complaint, making wasps then look the bad guys knowing that it could still be investigated
