Not surprised -truly awful negative manager who sets a team out not to lose rather than try and win. Got away with it for a bit at Fulham due to funding and with Wales because he had Bale to nick a goal. Without those kind of advantages he's terrible. If he was in charge of Barcelona he'd set them up with five in defence and Messi etc playing deep to provide cover to make sure Getafe didn't nick a goal.

I like Coleman but he's definitely blagged his way through management. Ian Dowie is a similar character but he was found out far sooner.

I can see Coleman getting one more management role in The Championship or MLS and then retiring into punditry as he has the charisma for it.

Managing Wales suited him. A bit of world class guile in Ramsey and Bale...everyone else behind the ball. Once Ramsay was suspended portugal only had to mark Bale.
I thought he did alright at Fulham and I thought was a good appointment. Turns out he is shite.

I really disliked him after he was here and thought he was a complete chancer who was tricking people into believing he was ace after the Wales job but then he went to Sunderland and Agent Coleman is alright with me.

It was widely known that Coleman was very focused on being first to the bar and last out when he was here.

As others have said he's been very fortunate a couple of times in his career.

A terrible appointment for us.
