I know we are having a new kit with the deal with Hummel but am i right in thinking we are on the lookout for new sponsors as the deal with Midepro was only for 1 year ?

Anybody got any news?

I'm currently reviewing our photocopier contract at work, due for renewal in a couple of months. I was going to try and remain loyal to Midrepro if they were still our sponsor and offer them a steer on where they needed to be for a free kit, but I guess that idea's gone now :)

I see that Wasps have ditched JLR and done a 2 year deal with Vodafone (on CWR this morning) Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere.

Perhaps Jaguar will sponsor the arena finally if they're not on the shirts? It was supposed to be them originally.

Considering they posted a £3.4B final quarterly loss for 2018 in February I highly doubt they'll be interested in taking over the naming rights. They have far bigger priorities at the minute.

No chance at the money wasps wanted

My contracts up this month with vodafone looks like i will have to change because of those parasites

I was looking at running the Kenilworth half again this year until I saw that Wasps were the sponsors; even the finishers t shirts are going to Be in their colours! Helped make my decision not to enter (that along with it now being two laps which I hate)

JLR dropped Wasps and not knowing what the new sponsor has paid I’m pretty sure it’s no where near the JLR deal.

JLR hardly paid anything

Sorry. I can assure you they did and it will blow to Wasps finances.

They didn’t - it was an insurance arrangement and it was based on success to trigger that payment

Sorry without getting into a who’s right who’s wrong. I can 100% assure anyone that the deal was significant. You may be right in relation to any incentives but to believe there wasn’t a payment for sponsorship Isn't correct I’m afraid.

There was a payment to cover the deal and wasps received payments regarding how well they performed and one year that was a significant payment - but it was covered by the normal insurance arrangement of

Next seasons shirts were ordered months ago so the sponsors name would already have been agreed and form part of the new design
Typically the new designs have to be with the manufacturer by end of January for delivery mid June to coincide with new fixture list
65% of shirts are sold between mid June and start of new season
20% sold in run up to Xmas
