said it before and I'll say it again, if anyone hears any rumours relating to the Sky blues it is their duty to post it on this hallowed portal.
but that will upset BackRoomRummermil - he doesn't like a rumour and we should all keep our mouths shut

On a real note....does anyone actually think we could sign stockdale?

I thought it was laughable but people keep mentioning him so is there anything to this or just wishful thinking?

I'd be amazed if we signed Stockdale. If we did however, I am sure it would include some sort of path in to coaching.

We had a chat with JF and he didn't mention that, but talked about the U23. He mentioned they're playing Leamington away on July 6th so it would be good to get a decent turnout for them at a local one and an early look at some of the fringe players before they all go to Spain as one or two might end up featuring if they perform well.

We did also hear a number of signings that would be exciting but from players rather than staff. It would appear they've all been sold the same story and I hope accurately, but must be difficult to get signings across the line if you don't know your budget or where/if you'll be playing. If I was a player I think I'd wait and keep my options open which could mean we miss out.

I think there is a slight possibility if he enjoyed his loan spell but its going to stretch our budget i'd imagine.

i'd like him here but im sure there will be plenty of options of out of contract keepers

Given the quality we have already i'm quite excited for next season. We are not far off a being a very very good team so i imagine with 5 or 6 quality signings we could be a force to be reckoned with.

I like the way we're going, so I don't get the "we're going for it and the owners are backing us".

I'd prefer us to be self-sustainable tbh and Robin's controls the playing budget, ins and outs etc.

SISU ain't been great when getting involved in playing/staff/management budgets.

Perhaps I'm also a bit old fashioned too, but going for broke in the past ain't worked and why we had/have a shitload of debt. Slow(ish) & Steady for me!

I'm really hoping it all links in with talks for the Ricoh. If we can get favourable terms, somehow, that increase our potential revenue then I don't see why we couldn't have one of the bigger budgets in the division. Like most, I fully expect Sisu to do something to the contrary though. Let's see.

Well I don’t e
From somebody who was at the awards dinner who had a long discussion with our u23 manager .

By all accounts (only passing on what I’ve been told )
Fans will be very shocked at some of the signings we are set to get , and robins will be backed more than ever before by not just club but owners , said they are going for it next season basically .

Don’t shoot the messenger , come back to this if we sign shite lol

Well I don’t expect the u23 manager to be in a job any day soon if he did say that as you can’t go around telling stuff that should be kept in house as it becomes a trust issue.

Fair point, mark and one that I'd not considered re. favourable terms as I can't see it being ok for City, hope I'm wrong.

Not really sure you can sack someone because someone on the internet said you said something, whether it coincides with the truth or not...

If he's telling people at a party that he's expecting a promising summer and some decent signings, I'm not sure that's much of a scandal that should see heads roll.

Mark Robins said we should be excited which alludes to the same thing, and the only people telling him to keep it shut were the Jimmy Hill Way who advised he stick to training drills and lovely jumpers, the stooge yes man sycophant sellout.

I think the betting exchange could put some players up for fun - i have managed to bet all my money each time on a city win and lost every penny ( including all on the Donnie game) - kin job i don't do betting seriously

Mate I’m passing on what’s been said to me this morning , I have no reason to doubt the information I’m just hoping they execute it too lol
If you are right thats brilliant! If not dont worry about it, little bits of Info like this keeps the interest boiling whilst we are awaiting for our lovely owners to tell us where we are playing these new crop of incomings. Keep up the good work

No names but I've been told upon completion of the Ricoh deal there are two deals ready to go right now.

All comes down to if and when it's agreed and signed, which is obvious anyway I guess.

Good news - my only concern is the players in the 'ready to go' bracket will be vulnerable to interest elsewhere until the deal is done.

Did he confirm it was Spain again pre season? Hope they haven’t used the same tour guide / planner as the past two seasons!!

He did, but don't shoot the messenger if it changes lol. I've sourced some cheap Ryanair flights from Birmingham to Alicante now I just need a pass from the Mrs :)

They won’t be coming then no doubt this Ricoh deal will be dragged on & on & on...

i have a feeling that they will 'go for it' only if Wilson is sold on, can not imagine Sisu spending without a chance of not making money back, or they will add the extra on to the price of the blub 60million and 49p

With Chelsea having the transfer embargo re-affirmed, then I think the really big money, £50/60m might now be down to £25/30m if we are now talking about Everton.

Any dates mentioned? Sure the Club have had more important things to be sorting ;) but would be nice to know. That said I’d rather they actually finalise things first and foremost, and check, and check again that it’s actually going to go to plan :D

West Ham have tried to buy Wilson at least twice now
Virtually all their main forwards are likely to leave in close season so I expect another offer will be made to Bournemouth shortly

Got to say, with the signings being rumoured it does feel like we’re going for it.

I would if I was Joy. Robins has shown he’s the man who can get us up and deserves backing. The pay offs are big. And who knows maybe Joys got the bug and spent the last few months calculating Doncaster’s goal difference as well.
Has Robins really shown all that ?! Still sceptical, we were 5 points off mid table. Awaits abuse once more.........
