My natural position has always been centre right but when the Tories are so split that they are essentially two parties that leaves me in such a political wilderness that I actually voted Labour at the last GE as despite being led by the left their policies sat immeasurably more comfortably with me.

I’m of the mind now that I won’t be voting labour in the next GE and won’t be voting Tories either. I’m going to leave to make my decision closer to the day.

I guess what I’m saying is you need an in the political wilderness box.

A a family we’ve always voted labour , I can’t lie as I’ve grown older I moved more towards the centre from the centre left and eventually across to the centre right .

I voted conservative last time based on the fact she said she would deliver Brexit (we don’t need to argue about that here ) but this time I wouldn’t know who to vote for .

Il have to look into the policies

I've never voted in my life. Hate politics and politicians. Left, right, centre, left of centre, right of centre, inside right, inside left, centre half. What absolute bollocks!

The thread title should be adjusted to "Why do politicians lie?"

I had a little go at this, results :
Economic Left/Right -5.13
Social Lib/Auth -0.31
So Err I'm still a bit unsure of exactly what all that really means ?!

Pretty much the same point as Gandhi which comes as quite a surprise.

I don't lie anywhere politically - I merely misspeak or provide alternative facts.

So I'm centre left with a strong leaning towards libertarianism. Closest to Gandhi on the graph.

This is an American site isn’t it? So would put people further left than they would be here Id imagine.
