Ref was poor.Clamped down on timewasting after the 4th minute which was laughable but was happy to let Donny do what they liked.Didn't blow up for obvious fouls and the lino couldn't make a decision or simply keep up with play

Fucking hell I can't take anymore of that clown in goal. On a side note, does anyone know why the ref gave them a free kick in the first half after their player picked the ball up? Bizzare day in many ways

That was bizarre! Didn’t blow for a free kick, their man decides it is a free kick, picks it up and ref must think ‘yeah I’ll go with his decision’.

Surprised Kelly didn’t knock him out! Doyle most definitely would have! Twice!

We were right by them. God there are some right nightmares amongst our fan base. Anyone see the young girl at the end pushing and mouthing at a policeman?

Awful.
Yes-they should have grabbed that little tramp by the hair and marched her to the cells! Surprised how well they kept their cool with her.

Well I was hoping all week that it wasn’t going to be what I thought it may be-a damp squib. A strong team to boot that wasn’t particularly bothered or interested really and we only really had one shot of note on target. Still, I’m safe on the knowledge that we have hopefully seen the last of that joker between the sticks. Just goes from one disaster to another.

I made a hasty exit as the drunken/coked up nobheads ran onto the pitch at the end. The atmosphere was great but why do people feel the need to lob beer and food about in the concourse? The police/stewards had no control and let our fans stand at the bottom of the stand from about the 60th minute despite many people pointing out to them that a couple of our disabled fans could no longer see the game.

I now remember why I don’t miss away days.

Whilst the atmosphere was great, they way some go about creating it is debatable.

For 2 of our own wheelchair users to have to move just so they could see the game, one of who was clearly being stood in front of intentionally after asking one person to move which then turned into a bit of a game was disappointing but not surprising.

As for the ones who ran on to the pitch at full time; why? :emoji_shrug: What did you gain? What was your intention?

Then the one fan who caught the ball in the stand, only to walk down slowly towards their GK, sticking his middle finger up; wow! You’re hard! :emoji_rolling_eyes:

Yes the stewarding was questionable; the stewards didn’t know between them whether to stand still, try and stop fans, chase fans, create a divide between fans, but they shouldn’t have had to figure that out in the first place!

Sing your songs, have a laugh, but don’t act like fucking cockwombles!!

Happy Summer City fans!
Apart from today and the Sunderland game our fans have been relatively well behaved away from home.... maybe some of them have later bedtimes once the clocks go back.

Just seen the goals wtf was mason upto for their first ? Amateur defending he’s far too small.

Any reason our fans felt the need to act like complete prats in the pitch at the end...embarrassing

Turns out we should have put rotated side in after all

Been a really good season overall, a few improvements in the summer aswell as our team having an extra year of experience playing together and in Robin's system and I think we can be pushing in top 6 next year for sure.

Chaplin I still think will come good, I just don't think that at all this season Robin's has played him to his strengths. I've always seen him as a poacher, playing off knock downs and flick ons from a strike partner but rarely seen that this season as he has either been far too deep or a lone striker.

Yes he has missed some great chances but so have all our strikers. Chaplin should be well into double figures, Hiwula could definitely have 20 and Thomas could be well into double figures aswell.

For me lots of positives and hope for next season.

I’m sure they have, and it is a minority who act the fool. As you say late bedtimes, and probably one too many E number (or for some of them some other kind of pill!!).

Seen one fan outside trying to start on a group of Donny fans, on his own, saying out load ‘how many of you are there; I’m on my own’. Was hopping around like tigger with his fists up, but backing off. All he was missing was saying ‘put em’ up’! He was very fortunate the one Donny fan gave him too many opportunities to back away before one of the others ushered his mate away as if he’d been hit he wasn’t getting back up!

Anyone who hops around like that deserves some rearranged teeth and broken bones. Not into this ‘one of our own’ BS. When our fans go looking for it, which they do, it fills me with joy when they get put on their arse.

Why was our goal disallowed? I've watched it back countless times - looks like their man launches himself into Bright who, back turned, stands his ground.

Must have missed something - or maybe the ref realised a Baka goal would upset the delicate skein of the fabric of reality?

How you've blamed Mason for Burge missing the cross is beyond me. Where was Shipley or Hiwula to stop the cross coming in?

Bournemouth just played a 17 year old keeper against Tottenham, he played a blinder, kept a clean sheet and was voted man of the match.

As someone said he’s 20 this year and had already been on the bench for the Republic of Ireland so it’s hardy the same as old Ponti is it?

Of course! I remember you saying it when we signed Chaplin. NOT!
Sorry your wrong , we could all see from last season Burge is a car crash just waiting to happen .

I and others said at the end of last season Robins needs to sign an experienced goalkeeper.
