Peterborough

Sunderland (H)
Walsall (A)
Portsmouth (A)
Burton (H)

Need 8 points to put us out of the playoff reach

Doncaster

Accrington (H)
Oxford (A)
Coventry (H)

Need 4 points to put us out of the playoffs

We HAVE to win all 3 games IMO , posh have a tough run in too , we are basically hoping that Oxford can beat Doncaster as I think they will roll over Accrington

Massive ask but it’s still achievable (just about )

A win tomorrow and I genuinely believe we will take 6th spot :)

Oxford (a) for Donny is such a difficult game, Oxford have won 5 from 6, beating the likes of Charlton in the process.

I think Posh will struggle with three of their four games, I do think they will roll Walsall over.

Realistically if we win all three of our games it gives us a chance and that’s the most important aspect of it

Personally, I feel we left too much to do after the Oxford result. It’s nice to theoretically still be in with a chance and something to play for with 3 games to go though, I wasn’t expecting that. However, I think it’ll be over for us tomorrow. Just my opinion.

A win against Pompey and it’s time to collectively start shitting ourselves.
As an aside, I am however enjoying bombarding my Pompey supporting parents with goading texts. Along the lines of “conor’s Gonna get you”, “fuck of you Pompey scum” etc etc

Just concentrate on winning the next 2 games and see what the situation is going in to the last game. Personally can't see us finishing the season with 5 consecutive wins but you never know.

We have had 92 successive games with something to play for at the top of the division we're in, starting with the 3-0 defeat of Notts County last season through to the play offs and then to now. The last time that happened was Hill's last two seasons. Even if we fall short, which I suspect we will, this is the measure of what Robins has achieved, in very difficult circumstances off the pitch. It is certainly heaps better than being 4 from bottom in the Prem. The difficult part will be maintaining the momentum next season. It is not a given.

I would just like the feeling that something could happen to continue to the last game. Living in optimistic hope is so much more fun than living fearing the worst, which has been our fate for decades, long before SISU

Make it 8 and we could be in the championship

A team that hits a run of form invariably nicks the 6th place:joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful:

Agreed it would be fantastic going into the Doncaster game knowing three points could get us in the play offs.
Mackems at Wembley anyone?

Pompey is gonna be so tough. Shame we not left ourself woth much margin of defeat.

Accringron just 3pts off relegation tho so hopefully they can beat donny as a bonus which would mean if we lose to pompey we are still alive

Portsmouth won last 6 league games in a row....
Bradford had, I think, lost 6 in a row before we played them. That was a fear going into that game as bad or good runs can't go on forever. I see Villa have now won 9 in a row, however, I would go into the game thinking that it is time Portsmouth's 6 game run came to an end. With a bit of luck and more clinical finishing than Friday, I think we have a chance of doing it. The pressure would then be on Doncaster going into their game only 2 points ahead.

Yeah, i haven’t really thought this through. Hmmm... If we lose (as if!)I just won’t speak to them again until next season. If we win I’ll increase the onslaught and start sending them flares, bottles, and bags of shit in the post...it’s the coventry way!

If we do start shitting ourselves dont forget to bag it up. We might need some missiles to hoy in the play-off semis.

Yep...has to be done. Being a parent should never be a get out of jail card. I always make an obvious point of locking away stuff when my Scouse Dad visits....feckers will steal anything

Very unlikely but not impossible.... If we do make the playoffs I think we'll win them. We've beat Charlton twice, Taken 4 points off Barnsley and Sunderland and we'll have beaten Portsmouth once (Because surely it's over if we don't win today).

If you want to bring up streaks (of the winning kind, you perverts :) ), how about last time we won a live game on Sky ? We don't do so well on Sky away from Wembley.

Off the top of my head we haven’t done too badly on tv this season. 1-1 v Luton and 2-1 v Oxford, both away. I think they’re the only ones

Also the Sunderland 1-1 at home.

I’d take remaining unbeaten on Sky this season. We need a win for play offs but they’re gone for me so would take a draw

Ah well, I'll be at the Ricoh for Shrewsbury and at the Keepmoat for Donny...... hopefully we'll still be in the league next season to challenge again.
