How ironic would it be if Sunderland got us into the playoffs and we end up beating them in the final
We’d probably play them in the semis they won’t finish fourth if they beat Doncaster and Peterborough especially with Charlton losing.
Sorry.
Edit: NEVER MIND forgot about Portsmouth.

Peterborough have a tough run Sunderland,Walsall,Pompey last game burton.

Doncaster have Accrington,Oxford & us im certain they will drop points we will need to go there & beat them to maybe sneak in our big one is Monday we have to pull it out the bag at Pompey it’s far from over yet.

This games thrown away as draws recently are painful, we have to win at Portsmouth to stand any chance, a draw really isn’t good enough.

I would have been happy with mid table after promotion via the play offs at the start but having seen these teams, having played so well against the top and gifting points to the bottom then it’s a missed opportunity.

Fingers crossed for Monday to keep it alive

True not much between the teams this season only a bit of consistency in taking our chances and we would be comfortably in the playoffs. I hope we get an experienced proven goal scorer next season

Im sure we have a huge budget set aside to blow on one of those right? Everybody mentions a '20 goal a season' striker as a must. In league 1 this season there is a whole 1 player got more than 20 goals across all 24 teams. We are 8th in the league with the strikers we have and better finishing is a factor but these same players are creating the chances.

Since we are even having these discussions, its shows that we have had a good season overall. If we had of been more clinical in some games, who knows?

It's not going to happen but that's not going to stop me running through all the permutations!! We have to win our remaining games (including Donny), even if we do that I cant see them losing against oxford or accrington. Best case scenario is we finish on level points with an inferior GD.

We're 4/1 to win tomorrow, do that and we can keep talking next week.
