I have just listened to Guardian Football Weekly podcast, which has on it two Sunderland supporters , Barry Glendenning and Jonathan Wilson. Wilson was at the game and is a very astute dispassionate observer. Described Saturday as the most boring 9 goal thriller he'd ever seen. Blamed the added time totally on Cov City time wasting which he though was the most elaborate he's ever seen. But also that Sunderland's defence was so bad, they were lucky to escape with only conceding five. Not sure I heard any of these points made by City fans at the match

If we were time wasting, (rather than going down with genuine injuries), then I'm delighted.
We've fallen victim to these sort of antics too often while trying play with a 'straight bat'.
About time we started been a bit more street smart.

Exactly, the same as trying to get players sent off which we still need to do a bit more.

If they have any fight left in them they need 3 points, a draw is not enough as their survival is as about as likely as our promotion hopes so I wouldn't expect them to come and set up like our recent home opponents, could lead to an open game which should play into our hands.

If they don't have any fight left that should play into our hands also.

City 3-0

My thoughts exactly they’ve got to go for it,Can we score 5 in successive matches?
Have we ever done that before,Any stattos on here?

I remember us scoring 7 against Macclesfield and then 5 against Forest the next game. Huckerby got a hat trick in both as well.

There is a slim chance of making the play-offs, for this to happen City need to win.

If we win we will send Bradford down, which is a shame as they aren't a bad club with decent support.

If we play with the same clinical nature as we did on Saturday then I can only see a City win.

A historic away win against a top club followed by a home game against the bottom club, what could go wrong?
They will want the points more than we do.
1-1 draw.

Let's hope it's not a repeat of our final Premier League match against them, both already relegated, the most turgid, god-awful game I've ever had the misfortune to witness.
That was my sons first game aged 5. I wanted to take him so he saw us in the Prem. He hasn't since but was hooked from that first shit game the poor sod. Remember Carlton Palmer heading over from about 4 yds out at a corner. That was about the highlight of the game.

Poor sod, and he still got hooked?? Well I guess it proves it's not all about the football - for me going up with my dad, or when I was older, with my mates is what it's all about.

Think have to go with unchanged starting xi - be good to get Chaplin on earlier for a few more minutes this game.
I think it may be after the Lord Mayor's show unfortunately but think we will sneak a 1-0 win hopefully,

They need a win though
A draw is no good to them at this stage of the season! they will have to come out and force the issue which could be fatal to them as CCFC are quite good a snatching a goal on the break

We're gonna smash Bradford.

I'm not going to be there, driving up the A1 to Edinburgh tomorrow - in fact, you know what, if we do win I'll stop for a poo near Sunderland, that'll show 'em (might even pop it in a bag and hoy it at them if we score 5)!!

Some people are at work and others going away so don’t see a big crowd
