1. Play at a shared ground like St Andrew's for 3 years whilst a new stadium is being built at Woodlands
2. Ground share for 12 months giving time for legal to be sorted and return to the Ricoh.
3. Play at the Butts permanently and have the Butts developed.
4. Cave into Wasps and the Council and drop the legals and stay at the Ricoh.

5. Play at The Butts until a new ground is developed? Surely that would be the best option?

Staying in Coventry is literally the most important thing for most....fans will put up with a temporary arrangement in the area, no doubts. Travelling outside of Cov will once again fragment the support and destroy the club.

Would playing at the butts while a new ground is built not be an option? I mean, I’m sure the new stadium thing isn’t really an option, but we’re dealing with theoreticals aren’t we?

Well maybe there is a case being made for the boxes to be ticked and money spent to make it possible. If this a realistic option then the others just don’t come close.

Prior to eavh wasps game ambush and kill 10-15:wasps supporters nd kidnap one star player per month thus accelerating their downward spiral.
When they're on their knees take back to Ricoh. Execute joy and Tim and pave the way for a new consortium formed by an anti council militia to take over.

Depending on the final outcome of the legals, option 2 for me with a rather large caveat. If the legals find in SISU’s favour (yes it’s a huge if), then one potential result could be SISU owning half of the arena. IF this means that CCFC could tap in to revenue streams of the whole arena complex then we could start to build solid foundations from which to build. Plus it would look a lot better for potential suitors to buy the club, to have access to 365 day a year revenue streams with more than 30 events a year. Given Wasps performances this season (bar the weekend’s result) I can only see fewer fans buying tickets next season, thereby increasing the financial pressure on them.

I still worry with building our own stadium at just where revenue would come from outside of maybe 30 match days (allowing for cup runs).

In all seriousness, as much as I don't like it, I think the Ricoh is the best option and probably the only realistic option as far as staying in Cov is concerned

Surely it has to be a ground share at the Butts? What comes after that is anybody's guess, but I cannot understand people who would prefer us playing outside of the city in front of 3K (with all the grief amongst supporters that would cause) ahead of potentially playing in Coventry at the Butts in front of possibly 8-9K in temporary stands . The Butts is actually a better prospect than the Withdean was for Brighton, but they made it work for a while (I am certain they preferred that option than continuing to play in Gillingham).

Again, you're talking as though all CCFC has to do is say the word. I just don't see what CRFC get from this and therefore don't see why they'd want to do it.

If groundsharing at the Butts isn't an option than 1 has to be the most viable. IF (and as someone said we are talking theoretical here), they actually do build a ground, surely we would take three year's temporarily away, (which is the only option available to us), for a much more sustainable and prosperous future? It's not ideal but none of this is, surely that would offer a way out and we could fully support it? I fully understand the anxiety and scepticism behind a groundshare with no final outcome that could look to take the club away permanently or for an indefinite time period, but if it was with the caveat that a new ground would be built, and work had started, and we would be back within three years, not supporting the concept would be madness in my opinion.

I am of course assuming, if this is a serious proposal (big if), that there has been some prior discussion. I cannot see how CCFC could unilaterally declare that this is where they are going to play.

In theory, I think a joint venture has a lot going for it (for both parties), not least in that the long term development costs would be split. My suspicion is that this is a long way from being a fully fleshed-out proposal and just cannot be delivered in time for next season, even with temporary stands.
