He’s happy because he’s scored and also because his boyhood club and hometown club Portsmouth are now back in the mix , think he was gesturing your staying down

Before I'd seen the video clip, I read on the BBC Sports site that he'd been booked for "excessive celebrations". I thought maybe he'd stripped his top off, dropped his shorts and mooned to the Scumderland fans! Can't believe he was booked for the show of happiness at scoring a great goal! That ref needs reporting!

I have to agree with the 606 caller - it was the most shameful celebration ever to grace a football match, well after the Shipley celebration that is. It crossed the line of acceptability. But fair play to those very respectful fans for conducting themselves well, and not reacting, as we have seen.

When you score a goal once in a blue moon, you are entitled to behave how you see fit.
I don't see this happening again for at least seven seasons.
Calm down Blunderland.

He’s absolutely right!
And i also agree with the caller that it’s ok to celebrate in that horrendous way if you play for Newcastle or if you are Aiden McGeedy playing against Preston.
