well what a day we all had. game was amazing, one of the best if not the best. atmosphere electric. we stayed in Newcastle and the geordies loving us lol

I heard Sunderland fans slagging us for causing trouble. well Sunderland fans hospitalised my friend who went on the coach. apparently a few Sunderland hit out at anyone by the coaches and side punched my mate. throwing bottles in the ground was stupid by us. next season if we play them I can see serious trouble. also I seen those Dutch hooligans after, they battered a few cov as we walked back to the station. angry blokes but fuck them and what a win. not looking forward to this train back lol

Anyone trying to punch a football fan after a game is a pathetic impotent. Proper Sunderland fans will be rightly embarrassed of such sad antics, just as we would if any knuckle dragger wearing our colours did the same thing. It's a game of football FFS, why attack someone to the point where they end up in hospital???

100%.

I’m sure plenty of other stories will materialise too...

I was in the Wheatsheaf before the game, which had a hostile atmosphere (flares being set off inside, beer and spit flying across the bar)between City and Sunderland fans which resulted in the biggest brawl I have seen at a football match.
It went on for a good twenty seconds before the police entered the pub, which doesn’t sound long but in real life it feels a lot longer. I had to help an elderly gentleman up from the floor, Sunderland fan, who had been knocked over in the mele and covered in beer.

Translation: I drenched a pensioner in beer and then helped him up after, playing heaps nonchalant.

Scum bag m8.

Yeah, a lot of young Coventry lads in there. 18 year olds clearly up for it.

What's this about Dutch fans coming across for this game?

In a nutshell, Sunderland fans have an alliance with Feyenoord fans (Rangers have one with Hamburg, Newport have one with Cardiff) and there was a handful of Feynood fans in the Wheatsheaf. Were about as intimidating as an episode of the Teletubbies. One was wearing a feyenood tracksuit and got called a ‘full kit wanker’ by a 17 year old, which I thought was quite funny.

Can't beat a little bit of footie tradition, eh?

Absolutely sickening, regardless whichever club they associate with & however many there are of them.

So it's ok that an innocent fan has ended up in hospital? Just because some steamed up berk has decided to unleash his frustrations at the nearest person to be wearing sky blue?

Grow up you ballbag.

went to an old firm game way back and there were load of Chelsea with the Rangers "firm"..
Would have thought that Sunderland having some sort of hooligan alliance with Feynoord says more about their supporters looking for trouble about football than what a small handful of Cov kids get up to.

Fucking Feyenoord ?!............ I reckon we should get on the phone to the Russians !!

If you're about to get the Russian phone book out could you start looking for an Oligarch to take us over before trying to recruit for the legionski?
