Can’t be arsed to read previous pages so may have been mentioned. Never seen 9 goals by 9 different scorers before!

So why haven't we been hammering lower placed clubs away

For the reasons we did well today not being present; poor pitches and at times an over cautiousness from MR.

I appreciate we can’t control the pitches we play on away from home (or even at home for that matter), but when we are set up to play football, use our technical superiority and attack we are a strong team.

It's actually simple
The top teams want to play against us and go for it
The journey men teams sit back and defend deep and try to frustrate us and get set pieces
With a young team like ours it's actually easier to play against a side that is trying to win than a cynical team using war of attrition tactics

Our home form under Robins last time was not great against so called poor teams either

Thought we were superb today apart from the sloppy goals we gave away! At 1-3 I thought we would try and contain the game but they didn’t let us, like the Barnsley game I was surprised on our resolve to come back time and time again. Wow sky blue, hats off tonight and you lads deserve a beer tonight

I think with lower sides they come to the Ricoh it’s like a cup final to them they sit back and try to Nick a 1-0 but really should be us to open these teams up which is why we have struggled at home we haven’t been able to do this

Oddly hasn’t bothered Luton or until today Sunderland

I hope the aneurysm department of Wearside general have cancelled all weekend leave, they're going to be busy tonight if social media's anything to go by.

having watched the highlights,Was a few mistakes for both teams that cost goals.

Sunderlands 3rd goal should not have counted as the throw in was taken off the grass.

The only bad thing today was that Chaplin scored such a good goal. It would have been much better if the winner went in off someone’s arse and both posts and replays showed it was offside.

Just watched the EFL show, they were loving it... game of the season they said!
I didnt realise 2 of their goals were deflected , then again we had Hiwula score for a deflection too I guess

What a time for Donny to hit form hopefully Sunderland do us a favour next week and we batter Bradford to bring the gap down to 5 pts

Really its the difference between us and them...

They are all poor teams and we have dropped points to 3 of them this season. With Bradford to come... If we had beaten Bristol and Plymouth we would be 3 points of 6th... Fine margins

Incidentally has anyone commented just how good Baka's goal was from a team perspective . Neat pass out from defence by Davies, quick turn by Thomas and sharp pass through. Baka sets off on his run early takes the pass on his favoured left food and cleanly slots it home. 5-6 seconds?
