Don’t agree. We will carry on working within budget, wherever we play and whatever division we are playing in. My worry isn’t liquidation, it’s the fact that there’s no obvious way back to the city unless wasps go pop or Sisu run out of legal avenues to explore. Either aren’t really short term possibilities (within the next 3 years)
What makes you think wasps going pop means we would go back to the Ricoh?
That makes it sound like they give a fuck!

Did I dream this or ultimately didn't all this start with us not going into administration when we should have because that tosser Geoffrey Robinson vetoed it to save his own money ?!
Yeah he did, he then tried to buy all 100% of the club through his Craigavon group but the council vetoed that and would only sanction the bid from SISU

Two grounds I haven't heard mentioned, but are within 50 miles, are the Hawthorns and Pride Park (49 miles from the Ricoh according to Google maps). Can't see us going to Derby because of the distance, but West Brom has a realistic journey time.

How do I get first dibs on away tickets if I don't want to buy a season ticket? Or is that being disgustingly cynical

You think maybe that’s why sisu are talking about a ground share, might make Hoffman come back with a better offer, or is that just wishful thinking
They will come back i with another offer once the appeal has happened and depending on the verdict

Still think we will be at the Ricoh. More scaremongering tactics from SISU.

Themselves, Wasps, CCC are all wankers.

I still lay the blame for our situation firmly at the feet of SISU
Do I need re-educating , cuckoo nest style (as in ,one flew over)
No you're absolutely right.

SISU have been adversarial throughout and it is they to whom the other parties have reacted. SISU are responsible for the nastiness and the acid in the situation, and it is also they who are trying to gain ownership of the stadium.

They've made a poor situation an utter fucking disaster.

Where are all the nutters when you need them - the knifers and the car-jackers? Some of the lunatics I've known from Cov over the years, it's amazing the board of SISU can still safely walk the streets.

What were the council reacting to by ripping up the heads of terms that would have meant we owned the Ricoh and courting London Wasps long before we went to Sixfields?

How did you feel when you found out the council had been planning on Wasps moving in in 2012? Or the council changing their mind about the heads of terms agreement for us to own the Ricoh again ? Or refusing point blank to reduce the £1.1m a year rent? Etc etc.

The council are a disgrace. Who were they representing courting wasps back in 2012?! Not one thought about CRFC at all. Disgusting.

SISU are a disgrace but the council aren’t far behind with there antics.

And Wasps- a London based club no fucker in the city of Coventry wants here kicking out the major sporting team in this city. I really can’t hope for any better than the suffer next season like us expected and the gone under faster than is predicted and there gone for good.

The picture of Duggins in a wasps scarf makes me physically sick in the press. What a guy eh?

FFS...

Who was responsible for bringing Wasps to Coventry starting in March 2012 (18 months before our exile to Northampton)? - CCC
Who termianted he Head of Terms for the Ricoh Arena ownership agreed with SISU? - CCC
Who said the sale of the Ricoh Arena to Wasps will not harm CCFC or CRC - CCC
Who said they want Coventry City to be part of the Ricoh and make it work for all stakeholders involved? Wasps
Who is refusing to discuss with SISU extention to the stadium lease? Wasps
Who have refused to discuss planning permission for new stadiums sites with Coventry City council owned land? CCC

SISU aren't angels but come on take off your rose tinted glasses and ackowlege there are two other parties invoved that are equaly (if not more) culpaple.

The saddest thing here is you actually believe the shit Nick pumps out. Try actually reading my more serious posts and thoughts, it is not at all one sided like you have been led to believe.

To the tune of Dirty old town... Could be emotional singing this on the last game.

'This is our ground, built for you and me.
Not the council and not the rugby. This famous club and it's history, we're from Coventry, we're from Coventry.'

No mention of the council, even with all the revelations of the last few weeks? Trying to bring in Wasps as early as 2012? Going back on heads of terms agreed with the football club?

SISU are not the only ones to blame for this mess. There are serious questions that the council need to answer for too. Neither one of them can claim to be clean in any of this. Just seems to me that people are quick to jump on SISU, but not so quick to jump on the council.
