Should be 32,000 spare blue plastic seats soon to be replaced by yellow and black. Maybe SISU are up for a job lot to use in our temporary home?

I think something that might 'reach through' a bit more is if people requested the memorial garden be moved.

Are ashes scattered there?

Imagine on the front page of the CT "I want the memorial garden moved - my late father wanted to be close to his club, not a franchise London rugby team"
Yes there are ashes scattered there. The club made quite a big deal of it when moving from HR. There was a multi faith service at HR as people had ashes scattered there.

Wouldn't want to damage the ones around it.

Maybe we can just get them out in bulk.

Who actually owns the memorial garden? Again, somebody like the Trust could be looking to find somewhere for it to be moved to.
Best place for Jimmy in terms of relevance would be HR but it would be an odd place for it to go. Maybe the city centre or Memorial. The remembrance garden would have to go to someone like Canley crem I expect. Anywhere else public you couldn't be sure some pissed up idiot wouldn't trash it.

Complete Facebook group meltdown.

Feels like children saying, "I'm not playing anymore!" type tantrum.
It's like Flounceville Town.

How do we apply to get the bricks back? That should be the approach the Trust should take, petition everybody to want their bricks and seats back ;)
Think someone brought it up on Twitter, the response is we don’t own the bricks - just the naming rights!!!

Have a feeling they aren't actually bricks, its just a false front. Imagine they would come off pretty easily. Why not leave them. In a few years when they change the seats it will be an annoying reminder to Wasps fans they pinched someone else's ground.

We should never EVER go back to that stadium again under any circumstance , time to start planning for the future , our future doesn’t include that soulless bowl anymore

Wasps fans? Another couple seasons like this one and they will struggle to get 2k paying customers.

City of sport crap - any time this is due an event for the entire year we need to ensure that there is a presence. Something simple as 'fucked her right in the pussy' will do, just to annoy the hell and ruin everything anyone tries to do.

Why has this come as a surprise to so many people?
I don't think it's a surprise just that some were holding back a little until it was actually confirmed in the hope of an 11th hour saviour that sadly never arrived and doesn't look likely to do so. On that basis the anger is now multiplied and I think it could get toxic at games quite quickly again as soon as the results are going against us.

Yeah the logic of kicking off at a match doesn't add up.

No surprise, but it’s still tough to read it within an official statement.

I’m quite a calm person, but it’s obviously an emotive topic and I must admit my hatred of the Council and Wasps is bordering on unhealthy. I’m also sick of idiots who STILL don’t get that this isn’t all on SISU and CCC/Wasps have a lot to answer for. Just fuck off you brainless idiots.

The City of Sport thing is an absolute joke too. The only team the Council actually support aren’t even from the City!!

Interesting to note the statement attempts to differentiate between the club and the owners. PR play from SISU to reasonate with the fans to encourage all fans to push for staying at the Ricoh (even if they hate SISU) or someone at the club with free reign?

And who are the owners of CCFC they're saying no to....?
Backed into a corner now being run out of not only the Ricoh but the city of coventry also with no realistic hope of building a stadium in Coventry because the council will block it. Fuck it this sucks especially when ur own council are forcing the issue. It's a sad day for Coventry city fc this will really hamper our growth

If we leave, the chances of us liquidating increase so much, it's scary.

Don’t agree. We will carry on working within budget, wherever we play and whatever division we are playing in. My worry isn’t liquidation, it’s the fact that there’s no obvious way back to the city unless wasps go pop or Sisu run out of legal avenues to explore. Either aren’t really short term possibilities (within the next 3 years)
