If I'm honest, doesn't really bother me.

Are you a secret Sunderland fan? They seem to like you on their thread
I've fully committed to nearly 1,000 posts on a Cov forum, invested in a season ticket and been to virtually every away game this season, when in actual fact I am a secret Sunderland fan who doesn't even know how to view their thread... aka not a 15 year old keyboard giving it the big 'un.

I think the naming is actually a shortened version of the intended title. Which was.... 'Stadium Of Light Fingered Bastards'.
Sorry, I can't help it! I also accept that this irresponsible post may contribute to a serious outbreak of scowling amongst rival supporters tomorrow.

How can we take the piss out the name of a stadium when we haven’t even got one? But ironic isn’t it?

I think naming a stadium after yourself is much, much worse. Looking at you Wigan and Reading (there may be others).

Always thought that they ripped off Benfica's. A bit like Birmingham's claim to be the Venice of the North it doesn't really conjur up the aesthetics of those beautiful cities.

To be fair, "our stadium" is named after a photocopier... I don't think we're in any position to mock...
