Shamas 1 both blue and red in the council are against Sisu so who would you vote for? Councillors have to think of all the people in Coventry not just football fans who number about 1 in every 50.

Wouldn't hesitate to buy a ST just like we did for Sixfields.
I found the atmosphere there good and positive, not as loud, granted, no SISU out chants if we started losing, no getting on players backs, just positive encouragement and it showed in the great football being played.

Wouldn’t really matter as red will win, but I would go blue anyway. Yes, both sides are against SISU, but at least when Ken Taylor was leader (I know Duggins is not up for re-election), the city as a whole seemed to be going places...even having direct links internationally. Now recent Labour councils have got us tied in to the WMCA with Birmingham, and have no idea how to diversify the city’s economy

If I lived close enough to Cov to attend on anything like a regular basis, I'd be reluctant to travel anywhere outside of the city because I don't think our owners have any intention of building a stadium and there'd be a good chance we'd never come back. Still torn and the club is between a rock and a hard place.

I would probably get a match package if they do them, night games would be what stops me getting a season ticket. A lot is dependent on where we end up.
I won’t renew my season ticket if we are playing out of Coventry. It’s a practical issue. I simply won’t be able to go to every game. Depending on where we are - Birmingham City likely, bBurton and MK Dons unlikely - I may go sometimes. If there are away matches with sufficient seats for the allocation to go to general sale, I’ll go to those games. If friends aren’t going to ‘home’ games then i’m less likely to as well.

The university growth is hugely impressive and any council to manage the removal of most of the car industry deserves some credit
Our friends in Mayfair will be laughing their tits off if reading this. It just gives credence to their never ending litigation and whilst they may have a case, CCFC would never benefit from any court victory. As for building a new stadium, they're taking the piss out of everyone, it's so obvious !!

correct , but if and when they lose, they could dump all of the costs against the club which will be awarded against them, and then effectively liquidate, knowing that their investment re Arvo masterfund, will ensure they get first pick on the assets ie Ryton

Like most it depends where it is. Northampton/MK Dons/Leicester probably not.
Rugby/Nuneaton/Birmingham/Walsall maybe 1 or 2.
Burton maybe a few more although it's further away from me than I first thought.
Probably mostly stick to away games. Managed to make 8 this season should be 10 with Sunderland and maybe Donny. Shrewsbury will only be my 3rd home game so I doubt they'll be missing my income anyway.

I wish I could change the club I support but when born in Coventry, you support your home town club.
When you’ve been through the highs (and they have been some highs) and you’ve suffered the lows (my god we’ve had some devastating lows) you cannot possibly switch allegiance.
I will probably go to more away games as live quite a way away.
But it didn’t stop me going to watch the my beloved skyblues at Northampton and it won’t stop me watching them wherever they are next season.
Honestly can’t see it any other way.

That's the way I see it aswell.I'm 70 this year and not in great healt so I'll go anywhere except Milton Keynes.My preference would be somewhere in the West Midlands
Walsall would be the easiest to get to and it wouldn't cost me as I have senior travel pass.That said hopefully a deal at the Ricoh will be agreed for the good of everyone
especially the younger fans.

It would be interesting to get replies only from STH, match package and up to 10 games people to see what the regular attendees would do.
If season tickets are heavily reduced I might get one even if I'm not intending to go to many because of the distance so I get the benefits of away games and still contribute to running the club.

If City aren't playing at the Ricoh next season, we won't be going any more.
We have supported CCFC for 55 years and are ST holders, but unfortunately our health is beginning to affect us attending. Neither of us can walk very far any more and instead of walking down, we now have to take the car and park in Car Park A. We sit in the Main Stand where we don't have to walk up too many steps, and sit in our nice padded seats. All of these things help us to still be able to go. We used to go to most of the away matches too but have had to give them up, again for health reasons.
City have been such a massive part of our life for so many years (and a lot of our family too although, sadly, the rest of them have stopped going, just the two us now) that everyone knew we planned everything we did, including holidays, around the football season, and we just can't grasp not going any more. We never imagined we would ever stop attending by choice, but that is the sad indictment of how it will be if we are not still at the Ricoh, purely on a practical basis.
Obviously can't comment if our health wasn't a factor, but the fact is that the Ricoh was built for CCFC, as our football stadium, and that is where we should continue playing, not anywhere else.
