Our Home Form (1 Viewer)

Just had a look through our fixtures this season at home, and the more you look at it the more disappointing it gets!

Won- 8
Drew- 5
Lost- 7

Imagine how far up the table we would be if we'd of won a few more and not dropped points at home to poor teams! What could we put our bad home form down to??

Not knowing how to play against teams set up and organised not to lose
It's so disappointing and its hard to figure out why we've been so poor in some games! Puts pressure now on the last 3 home games who are against teams that we have to put away!

Home form is almost identical to the away form which shows we are consistent at least lol

If only our home form was slightly more consistent! We wouldn't have so much pressure for the play off push!

The reality is We haven’t got natural goalscorers at the club , that is the main reason we are not winning games we should be .
That and a few individual errors
Luton have 2/3 top strikers for this level hence why they can play average and still win matches

Who’s the 3rd? Merely interested as to my mind they have Hylton and Collins.

Its definitely goals that are costing us valuable points, how many times have we dominated at home only to concede a stupid goal after chances are missed for us

Don’t think it’s strikers it the whole team that score. They must have about 7 or 8 players who have scored 5 or more. Then there 2 main strikers easily have double figures and I think Lee also has double figures from midfield.

I think in our position at the moment you're always going to lose a few games or drop points along the way, the problem is we have done it too frequently, three games that stand our immediately are;

Sunderland (H) - Chaplin should've won us the game, but was too cute with his finish.
Walsall (A) - We were winning in the 90th min and lost, madness.
Gillingham (H) - Gave away a last minute penalty and cost us two points.

This is not even taking into account the games where we have battered teams (Plymouth away and many more) and not picked up the results.

Even if we don't make the play-offs this season we are only a few decent signings off a good chance to have a go next season when I expect our home form will be much better.

I think that a lot will depend on where our "home" will be.

We won’t make playoffs this year, too much to ask now I think, get more quality in the summer and sort out the ground and we have a great chance next season.
