Hadn't realised they were showing games

Real Madrid on at the moment.

Huesca players in the tunnel covering their mouths whilst talking to each other - noticed that a lot lately - avoids cameras picking up information? Players seem to have been coached into this. Paranoia !

Real losing to Huesca (bottom) after 3 mins!

I think It’s more to do with being heard in a loud environment, but given everyone likes to be offended by nothing these days it’s probably less hassle for players to not get lip read

It's another thing that has come over from America. In the NFL the head coach or coordinator would call out a play for the players to set up on, this goes through their mic to the player's earpiece inside their helmet. The opposing teams trying to guess the play have cameras trained on anyone of significance to try and get the play to their players before they get going so it makes sense for them to cover their mouths when getting any important info out.

Sadly footballers now think they need to hide themselves saying "get it in the mixer".

It is laughable isn't it

[Team brings on striker]
Surreptitious whispering between new striker and captain
[Striker moves into the centre forward position*]

*May not always happen if striker plays for Coventry City

I've noticed managers doing it all the time too on the bench, it's a weird craze.

Barcelona got the draw in the last few seconds of the game. 2 great goals by Messi and Suarez got them level after trailing 4- 2. Don't usually like watching La Liga but this was a cracker.
