SISU Open Letter Reply to Council (1 Viewer)

I do like this Thread on Twitter.

It goes from somebody with a clear Wasps / CCC agenda saying I am on SISU's payroll to @Tommo72 taking an issue with a reply to him asking for him to prove it.

Strange, @Tommo72 for upset with me pointing out Hoffman would appear again.
Someone's got a gambling problem.

How is Tommo72 even claiming to be one of our fans. Out of his last 3 tweets one is retweeting a former Wasps player saying they are right to kick us out and one is retweeting someone saying "Never wanted a club to fail as much as Coventry".

Because it really show's SISU. Hence he got upset I pointed out Hoffman was going to re-appear and that I replied to somebody saying I was on SISU's payroll.

Looks as if he is too far in and doesn't like to be shown to be wrong.

Claiming to be a fan....are you serious?

24 hours since this was announced, where the fuck are all the people who have gone silent?

I understand that the council will need to wait for the lawyers before they can respond but the longer the SBT take to answer the more it looks like they are also waiting to be told what to say.

I thought they may be have seen the light when they announced they were going to also protest at the council and Wasps but that appears to only ever have been mentioned on here and then it turned out not to be a meet and greet instead of protest.

I don't really do twitter so don't know but if somebody re-tweets something is it assumed (in the twittersphere) that they agree with what's being re-tweeted as opposed to just making other people aware of what somebody has said?

It's open to interpretation but if I was to guess a percentage, 90% of people would say a re-tweet is an endorsement. A lot of people spell out on their profile that their re-tweet isn't an endorsement which backs that up.

Agreed.

What ‘Chiefdave’ failed to do was read the tweet properly....it was a tweet from a Sunderland fan....who made the comment. Lol

Yes, some notable absentees on here who would normally be swarming all over this kind of thread.

Protected his tweets now. Only those in the echo chamber can see them.

So where does all this leave us? Is it possible wasps/ccc will be shamed into biting the bullet and giving us a deal, trying to save face and hopefully moving forward. Or are we groundshsring and hoping sisu can/are/do build our own ground?

CCC/Wasps have no shame and why should they, people like Tommo back them 100% over a club they supposedly supports. Dave is right.

Looking at it, I think him retweeting the Sunderland thing was him drawing attention to it.

However I'm not too sure what the Andy Goode one is about. That's a whole different matter.

Were pretty much fucked, wasps and council will just stick to their current line of “public opinion etc, we’ve done nothing wrong”

SISU won’t build a new ground, the question. How long they want to prolong our last dying years

To be fair to the trust, a lack of response isn't affecting their credibility as they didn't have any anyway.

Sadly when it comes to the media they do, it is them who will be on BBC, ITV, Daily Mail and that people who don't really follow it closely will listen to. The same as when they were endorsing Wasps moving here by saying how it was a great sporting occasion.

That's why it has needed to be them who has gone to those places and said. "SISU, you have been c*nts, get to the table and sort it. CCC, you have been c*nts, get to the table and sort it. Wasps, opportunist c*nts, get to the table and sort it. If you don't sort it, we will make sure the people of Coventry know about how you screwed the club over and make sure that heads roll over it"

Exactly like your open letter idea implied.

What they should say is - SISU! WHere the fuck are you trying to build a stadium, we’ll go protest the council,

In the meantime, Council and Wasps, support the football team and put together a mutually beneficial medium term deal

In an ideal world SISU wouldn’t be our owners. I think you’d struggle to find many who disagree. However, if at this point anyone is still under the belief they are solely to blame, they are either past saving or are still playing an increasingly obvious and now defunct agenda.

The majority of us have known that CCC, Wasps, Hoffman et al and the Trust have been colluding over the last few months. We were also pretty sure that CCC and Wasps had been working together for a while, but the fact the plan was in train pre Northampton is an absolute disgrace.

The Council have got away with it for years, supported by an ignorant, blinded and steadfast anti SISU mob. At this point SURELY they have to be taken to task for their role in where we find ourselves.

SISU may not be ideal, but they have finally worked out how to run a football club, and like it or not have funded us and given MR a decent budget for the last two years at least. The recent publications also indicate that they have had to put up with more than we even imagined from an arrogant, scheming and egotistical Council.

I’m by no means a ‘SISU apologist’ but they aren’t the only bad guys in town anymore.

I don't disagree. I'd still like to know *why* it was the plan however. We currently have the information all from one side, so rather partial. They also probably know that thanks to privacy regulations, CCC won't be able to release any emails to respond and set a context.

(Before I get a rant, I re-iterate I agree with you but, being an academic at heart, I like to see all the evidence before formulating an opinion. It's the same process that stopped me deciding SISU were all at fault come Northampton... so about time I had my allegiance reversed ;) )
Yup fragments is what is in the public domain. We are certainly not aware of the background that led to the council making their decisions. What were SISU behaving like?

And another strange account:

Somehow something in the legals discussing 2013 disproves the emails dated 2012.

People and their dates, it's almost as if they are being purposely clumsy.
