Don't think it will get them relegated as it still means they are 5 points clear.

Not a great few weeks for them. They are still yet to be punished for the pitch invader incident too.

The fans shouldn't be the ones to suffer though. If there was a chance to introduce sweeping new rules then I'd make it a fine for the owner of X% of their net worth

I think they were lucky that they have it taken off now, not going to win anything so they take it on the chin and move on

West Brom, Leeds and Sheffield United are their next three games, I think Blues could get sucked into the relegation battle.

Wolves got promoted so like Bournemouth and qpr before them, the efl can’t do anything until they relegated back the football league

I get that, my point is that there needs to be a mechanism in place to scrutinise these deals financially before they happen. For instance when they signed Neves for £15 million and nobody thought ‘how can they afford that?’.

Now Wolves get lavished with praise for their Chinese owners writing blank cheques like the Thais did at Leicester. It’s what makes English football a joke

I’m all for FFP/SCMP but I’m a little bit uneasy with how this has been handled. The way how the rules were changed and implemented wasn’t really fair on any of the clubs. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Around a dozen clubs are currently facing the same fate which says a lot about how it was done.

The only way clubs will take the finance regs seriously is if there are severe punishments for breaching them.

Even as they are you’re allowed to rack up tens of millions over a few years. If we ever got back up there’s no chance of competing without a sugar daddy which half that league seem to have

The issue is the EFL set the new rules and started them pretty much from that date. A lot of clubs had no choice but to break them unless they sacked players or other staff.
