He said he doesn’t regret not going and we made it clear to him that it was unacceptable.
Before or after the friendly handshake pictures and him saying thanks?

You genuinely can't see what people are saying, either that or you genuinely aren't bothered about how obvious things are.

Same when people say to distance from certain people, absolutely not bothered.

Everyone was more than welcome to join us at the Council House this morning. I know not everyone can make it due to work but it disappointed me that so few were there considering it was before most people that work within the City Centre clock in. I was expecting that to be the best attended of the 4.
To my shame I could not be arsed with the whole day protest thing but instead decided to attend the Wasps / Ricoh part of the protest which the time of 9.15 am has been well publicised on social media for days. So I gets to the Ricoh and sits on my ownsome under the Jimmy Hill statue at 9am , the Sky Blue trust coach pulls up at 9.20 am and I am still the only independent protester to turn up. Disgraceful ! Anyone of you criticising sh**s on here could have turned up and asked a pertinent question or even lamped the Wasps official in response to any more questions if you so desired, but no as usual you’re all just talk ,talk with not one one ounce of action between the lot of you.

Well said and 100% true.

Too many big mouths on here with no action.

1) Some people are at work at 9:15am

2) It was hardly promoted as a protest against anyone but SISU on social media.
From the trust website:

Sky Blue Trust & Coventry City Fans to head to both SISU HQ and EFL's London Headquarters
Timings of the Visit on Thursday 21st March to Sisu and EFL Headquarters
From the trust facebook:
Sky Blue Trust members and other concerned Coventry City fans are invited to join us as we travel down to London on Thursday March 21st to raise the profile of the Sky Blues impending homelessness.

We'll be calling at SISU headquarters for a lawful demonstration to urge our club owners to do whatever they need to do to ensure a deal is done with Wasps to stay at the Ricoh.

We'll also be delivering your messages to Joy Seppala to let her know just what Coventry City means to our supporters and just why it is so important that the Sky Blues remain in Coventry.

From there we'll be heading to the EFL's base in London to send them the same message, that Coventry City belongs not only in Coventry but also as a proud member of the Football League and to ask them to ensure they do everything in their power to ensure that happens.

The coach will leave a central location at approximately 9am and leave London at around 4pm.
On Thursday we have arranged for transport to both EFL and SISU head offices for a lawful protest. We will be joined by people travelling independently and also other football supporters. We still have spaces available follow the link below.....

Good for you. Tampa’s a bit of a hike though m8.

That said, I wouldn’t have gone if I lived round the corner. You see, I have a grip on reality. The protagonists will do as they see fit, regardless of how shouty, obnoxious or indeed, friendly and clappy you are.

Perhaps you might also consider that posters on here might not agree with the protest, who is protesting and what they want (in the name of ‘us all’.)

I do get the general point about turning up, showing people care, and showing that there's something worth fighting for.

Said at the time though, problem of holding a protest at a time people work is you're going to restrict numbers who attend. That applies for anti Wasps... and anti SISU for that matter.

Maybe you can explain how from those posts, which are the only ones the trust have made, people should have known they needed to book time off work and be at the Ricoh at 9 this morning for a protest against Wasps?

Maybe a question or two could have been asked?

Justification for what, exactly? I've said to CJ multiple times I'll do any design work needed, I've offered to help with a membership system to help the trust, I've offered to try and help fill a gofundme account if money is needed for things.

You do realise there's more to it than standing holding a banner for pictures, right?

You are far too naive, it's up there with getting excited about Hoffman taking over or the big ccfc news when Gilbert launched his book.

The whole "doing something" for the sake of it or for a pr stunt is nonsense really.

Kinda like when City don't get 32000 attend a Ricoh match after 45000 turn up at Wembley and only get 11k, don't you think?

Because the obvious response to posts about a coach to a protest in London is what time do I need to be at the Ricoh for a protest against Wasps you've made no mention of

People that think they can do better but don’t do anything can’t criticise the trust. Start something up yourself, do something if you think you can help.

Why hasn't the trust started a new club?

So as a member of the trust, people have no say about things?

Oh dear what? The criticism is that people haven't turned up for a protest that was "well publicised on social media for days" yet there's literally no mention of it on any of the trusts channels. I'm a trust member and I certainly haven't had an email or any other direct communication about it.

Your suggestion was "Maybe a question or two could have been asked?", why on earth would anyone ask a question about an event they had no clue was happening? Or should the response to any comment concerning the club now be 'what time shall I be at the Ricoh for the protest against Wasps'?

I’m not a Trust member and I’ve known about this for over two weeks. Maybe I picked it up from Twitter but it’s been out there.

I knew the programme and times just from casual glancing on here. So I suspect it wasn't that difficult. I do get the point however on the way the Trust seemed to prioritise EFL and Sisu.

I dont' think the Trust are representative, and appear to be dominated by certain individuals. That said, at least we are in the national media a bit - not that the fans can do sod all about the situation -so the arguments on here are entirely irrelevant.

Was the plan to go the council house public before duggins didn't turn up to the meeting last week?

I honestly don't know that, I know CJ mentioned the Ricoh but think I only saw that this week. Could be wrong and missed it.

I see. It's down to fans to do searches of the internet to find details of protests organised by the trust that they've decided not to mention on any of their own communication channels.

Well you’ve just quoted several tweets from the SBT on an earlier post....is Twitter not a communication channel? Not sure what you are getting at...

Its a pretty simple point I'm getting at. There's no mention of a protest at the council or Wasps on any of the trusts social media channels. The only mention is of a coach to London to protest SISU and visit the EFL.

Like I said I’m fairly sure I got the information from the SBT twitter account but maybe I’m mistaken.
