Call me a contrary old bugger but, despite my loathing of Wasps, I'd find this one worse.
The narrative of trying to cut a deal, failing, having to move out while putting together plans for a new stadium may have been far fetched last time, but it at least held some weight.
This time... we're running exactly the same schtick, but we've had years to plan for said new stadium. I can buy the victim act, fine... but only if it's in conjunction with a positive and believable solution that we'll work towards.

Yeah if sisu seriois bout new stadoum they would just drop legals and then start planning
After making it public it would be hard for council to stop them without a real reason
I imagine sisu r lookinh for another short cut
Prefer ground share to no ccfc but no guarantees we come back
Somehow need a new rent deal struck so we tjese games can continue whilst actual club and fans can ignore it again fot a while

because if we leave for Nuneaton, or bedworth, or walsall etc, this isn't like last time when we thought we have had an empty stadium to bargain with.
Unless something changes, (SISU court case win, wasps financial needs, council change of heart etc) where is the come back point ?
It may not come to any of this and we get another deal for a year, which would be great, but surely its worrying ?

Disagree.
First of all, as long as we’re somewhat close to home (local non league, Walsall etc), they wouldn’t be that low I don’t think. Second of all, Rochdale, Burton, Accrington, and Fleetwood are not going bust in L1 with average attendances of under 3500, and there are 9 L2 teams with under 3500 attendances. From a business perspective, Sisu could sell top players, not agree to big contracts, and keep us alive if a groundshare is for an extended period of time. Plus, there’s a possibility we get promoted this season.

We’ll probably groundshare until Sisu are done with the Ricoh court row, at which point they’d either (try to) get us back at the Ricoh or try to sell.

If wasps continue to lose 10m plus a year if players leave after this season attendances drop and let’s say they get relegated which is possible it could be but I don’t think it will be that quick.

Are you advocating a return to league 2 ?
SISU could sell some top players, not agree to big contracts, then wave goodbye to Mark Robins, we pay poor money anyway, you get what you pay for and again prepare for league 2 at best.

And if it comes to that, it won’t be permanent, just until Sisu finish in the courts and sell, or get back to the Ricoh.
The Euro court system I believe could take upto 3 years just to start and then there’s sure to be an appeal procedure from either beaten side, we could do with knowing the exact procedure and possible time structure and that of the civil courts too.
You miss a vital point though by saying “or get back to the Ricoh” from where ?

Isn't the problem (Problems, problems I hear you say) that if SISU lose their action, then Wasps, whom you all hate, will be in charge in perpetuity and will have CCFC over a barrel regarding rent. But at the same time a new stadium is probably not commercially viable without the arrival of a new well-meaning sugar daddy/mummy. As SISU shows no intention of leaving, heaven knows why, It is in our interests imho for them to either win or have the capacity to cause damage to Wasps' wobbly business model. Sort of hole them below the waterline approach. That at least evens up the negotiating pitch.
